    The part that dont work on my radio is it only gets AM. I have been trying to get a radio head off ebay. But they are not sure is they work either.

    I am going to try what 93 said and get better wire system. I will pick up some #4 wireand lugs and put it on this week end. Thanks for the imput.

    Where is the best place to get a starter fo a 83 venture. I have a dead spot on my starter. Sometimes when i try to start my scoot the lights go dim.Try a few minitues later it will start. Plan on pulling out the starter and cleaning it. thanks. Doug

    I am bidding on a radio and tapeplayer for a 1983 venture on ebay. If i get it all I need is a few parts to make mine work. So if anyone needs some parts let me know and i will pass them on to you. It will be a couple days before the sale ends. IF i get it I will let you know. Doug

    Im hyperglycemic it does not bother me at all. Hypoglycemic might have a little more problems. Take your meds and you should not have any problem. Diabetes is getting to be one of the biggest medical problem. We all eat right and exercise.lol

    My wife got the game and pad but she did not get the control for the floor. So if someone needs the game and pad let me know. Or if someone has a controler for the floor i would buy it. Thank I guess what she is missing is the balance board

    I have not worked for over one year. I had 15 years as a fabricator and local truck driver. We got a new forman in our shop. First to go was a guy with 8 years and 53 years old. He did not do a job right so they say so they fired him. He was replaced with the formans brother.Hmm . Then another guy at 50 was laid-off. Replaced with foremans friend. hmm. Then i was told to take a couple days off. I questioned the owner of the shop. I am unemployed now. They kept a 26 year old kid with 6 months there.Basicly at 50 I was to expensive to keep. Insurance/25 days vacation/ wages. sorry just venting

    Is it normal for the radio on a 83 venture to only work on A M side. Tried to clean all the buttons with electric cleaner but it did not work. I looked on ebay but the prices was a little high.(my opinion) Is there a fix for these or is it the nature of the beast. It is not a big deal but i like it all to work if its on the bike. Doug

    By looking at the forks it has some leaks from the seals. By reading some threads on here it sounds like progressive is the way to go.

    Looking for repair ideas and this site came up. Thanks for having this site it has saved me alot. Also found some good people to go with it.

    The loose wire was the blue single wire. It was not plugged all the way in.

    Found one connection loose but it starts every time. but the neutral light stays one.

    Went for a 10 mile ride today. Was nice to get out and do a little, not much but some riding. Found out I need some fork oil. Or get some progressive springs when i can afford it. Hope everyone else got out for a few miles.

    Went out a hour later and the bike started right up.shut it off and started it sevaral times and it started everytime.

    Is there away to by pass the neutarl switch. Drove the bike today only went 1 mile. I shut it off then it would not start. The neutral light stays on no matter what gear. After trying to shift it to find neutral the light went dim when pulling the clutch in. Then after a few trys it started.Also when i put up the kick stand up the n. light went off. Im guessing its the switch. The bike started everyday this winter with no problem.

    The bike I had sat since 1987 with no plates. I had no fees added to the bike when I got the current plates. Every state must be different. But then again all i did was transfer after I got the plates from this company.
