  1. Good enough for me. I'm ready for a new target. I have 4 days off work and good weather.
  2. My understanding of it is the system injects air into the engine's exhaust, providing oxygen to burn unburned hydrocarbons in the exhaust. So it does reduce the hydrocarbons that leave your tailpipe. I couldn't care less if it helps of not but I think that is what it is supposed to do.
  3. I had no clue what Daffodils looked like and had to Google it so I figured I'd post a pictures for all the rest of you who don't know either. http://biopsy.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/daffodils.jpg?w=225&h=300
  4. So what's the next target?
  5. Wish I was a little closer.
  6. They put on a charity ride here in Terre Haute. They all seemed very nice and welcoming to me and my girlfriend even though we were riding my Venture and not a Goldwing. It was a fun ride.
  7. That's a good tip! I didn't know that. I'm going to have to remember that one.
  8. I have two. Upgraded battery cables and putting a radio on it.
  9. My cell phone takes video. I don't know if it would record long enough to get a whole carb sync though.
  10. We should organize some sort of carb sync party for us Indiana folks. Bummer helped me with mine but I wouldn't mind watching again.
  11. The next target is.....You with your bike, next to a state welcome sign, other than the state you live in.
  12. Yep that one was pretty close to me. We ended up riding close to 200 miles today though anyway. We are doing a charity ride in the morning too.
  13. This is about as big as it gets around here. This is the Terre Haute Federal Prison. Here's what Wikipedia says about it: The Federal Correctional Complex, Terre Haute, is a federal [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prison]prison[/ame] for adult males located at the intersection of State Road 63 and Springhill Drive, two miles (3 km) southwest of Terre Haute, [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana]Indiana[/ame], [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States]United States[/ame]. It falls under the jurisdiction of the [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Bureau_of_Prisons]Federal Bureau of Prisons[/ame]. There are two facilities at FCC Terre Haute: Federal Correctional Institution, Terre Haute; and United States Penitentiary, Terre Haute. USP Terre Haute is currently the home of the only death chamber for federal [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_punishment]death penalty[/ame] recipients in the United States, where they receive [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lethal_injection]lethal injection[/ame]. Among those most recently executed at USP Terre Haute were [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_McVeigh]Timothy McVeigh[/ame] and [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Raul_Garza]Juan Raul Garza[/ame] in 2001, and Louis Jones, Jr., in 2003. McVeigh, who was convicted for his responsibility for the [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma_City_bombing]Oklahoma City bombing[/ame], was the first prisoner executed by the U.S. Government since the moratorium on the death penalty was lifted in 1976. Drug trafficker [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Marks]Howard Marks[/ame] served time there as well as Gregory Paul Price Jr.[1] http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs228.snc1/7534_174496620504_593595504_4053321_2103877_n.jpg http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs228.snc1/7534_174496625504_593595504_4053322_2979959_n.jpg My beautiful girlfriend. http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs228.snc1/7534_174488855504_593595504_4053293_5869742_n.jpg The next target is.....You with your bike, next to a state welcome sign, other than the state you live in.
  14. Now that I can do. I'm off work the next 4 day so I should be able to get it.
  15. Ok I found a mount a antenna cable on ebay. I'm sure I can find an antenna to screw onto it now pretty easy. I also accidently bought a set (left and right) for a 2000 and up Venture. I didn'y realize they weren't for a first gen when I bid. I posted them for sale in the classifieds. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/2313/cat/7/date/1161840513
  16. BUMP No sail boats near me Someone hurry up an get this so I have something to ride to. (as if any of us need an excuse)
  17. Geez I only pay around $250/year and I have some major violations on my record. We won't go into details.
  18. lonestarmedic used to make and sell the upgraded cables on here. Not sure if he still does. I got some and IMO they are a must for the first gens. I used to have trouble starting mine when it was hot. Now it starts easily no matter what. They came with the main fuse wire and an extra accessory wire fully soldered ready to go for I think $40 when I got mine.
  19. I picked Sometimes but the truth is I rarely wear it. I wore it when I had my permit and was required to but now that I have my license I don't.
  20. I thought about doing that. I have a cord for my iPOD to play it though a radio station but it has to be plugged into a cigarette lighter. I might just istall one and use that.
  21. Anyone one have an antenna, mount, and cable they could part with? I installed a cd player in my bike but I can't get any radio stations without an antenna and cds skip too much.
  22. Very well could be. I would have a professional align it on an alignment rack. That is the only way to really accurately set it.
  23. By brimmed hat do you mean like a ball cap? Do you have a problem with the wind catching it and trying to pull it off?
  24. When you jack up almost any vehicle, as the wheels hang freely, they will be at a more positive camber. Unless is is solid axle I guess. That is normal. When you drove it down the rode they would have went back to their normal position. I don't think it necessarily means anything is worn out as any vehicle would do that.
