It just tastes sooo good. I do love real apple pie. I just drank two shots, and I'm already feeling it........think I'll go have another.
-
Yep. 1/2 gal apple juice, start to warm, then add two cups sugar. Stir sugar until it dissolves. Add 1/2 gal apple cider and 3 and 1/2 cinnamon sticks. Boil for one hour. Let cool, then add 500ml of Everclear. Stick in fridge to chill. Drink shots cold. Not more than 5....or you'll have the squirts in the morning from all the apple juice and cider...lol. Sneaks up on you like moonshine, so don't overdo it. Makes the house smell like fresh apple pie, too.

Guess what I'm bringing to the Hub? I made it up yesterday. Seems to be popular. I have had to share this recipe with a few others here. MMMM....Apple Pie.

We are hanging out a few more days, after leaving the Hub. We were thinking about checking out Branson. My parents go there alot, and really like the area. Not sure what we're gonna do, or where we'll go yet. It'd be nice to meet you. You should drop by the Hub, as there will be several of us there. It's in Marble Falls, Ar. www.hubinfo.com

I can see that.......I mean, look how you run a saw.

Thanks for all the input. We found some at Wallyworld for a little over $3 apiece.

Just glad it wasn't worse. Take it easy, and don't push yourself.

Ouch! Be careful riding up. One more night of work for me. We'll roll in there midday Friday.

Geesh Dick! That hurts just looking at it. I hope it heals quick, and works normally again. Brian had me rolling on the floor with the "forked thumb" remark.:rotfl: -
Yes, it fits the 1-1/4. You don't have to change your hitch tho. There is another way. I'm sure he could make you a rack with this mount. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motorcycle-Receiver-Hitch-Cooler-Rack-Carrier-Goldwing-/130414169614?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e5d4a4e0e

We didn't go, remember? We stayed back and went to the beach. Thanks for all the replies.

And...the bowl is big enough, that you could put some ice in there, and sit your beer on top of it.

Does anyone know of a store that carries the cooling neck wraps, or do you have to order them online only? I want them before Friday, but I don't want to pay an extra $30-$40 for fast shipping.

Well......hurry up and show us!

Not yet. I said in about a week.

My trailer was set up for 5-wire, so I set the bike up to match it. Who cares about the license plate. If they gotta see it, then they can pull me over. I'm all legal. My main concern was the lights. If they can see me, I don't care about the damn tag.
-
I had a local shop (Pitbull Motorcycle Lifts) make me a cooler rack today. I got it bare, and painted it, then added my own lights. If anyone is interested in one, he is going to draw me up some prices with black paint or powder coat. I will know prices in about a week. You will have to add your own lights.

Hope you have a good sump pump!

Make sure your bearings aren't overtightened.

Rick, it was great to meet you and Marilyn and the kids. We really enjoyed camping next to you, and getting to know you. I'll say one thing. You two are doing a really good job with those kids. They are some of the most well behaved and mature teenagers I know. Glad you had a good time at Six Flags, and made it home ok. Looking forward to seeing y'all again, eh!!

Water is best....but..... You can't just drink when you get hot. If you are planning a trip, then you need to start hydrating with plenty of water a few days before you go. You need to build up the water in your system over time, not just adding it at the last minute. You should drink water ALL OF THE TIME in the summer months, not just when doing strenuous activity.

I already posted that the temps at work can be 160-170 degrees. The vest works very well, and no....it doesn't stink. It uses cooling crystals that stay hydrated for several days.
