Gary, myself and two non-members are going to the International Motorcycle Show in Novi Saturday February 2nd. We plan on being there at 10:00am until around 2:00. Wondering if anyone else was going and if any interest in meeting up for breakfast before or lunch after?

With Verizon the contracts are on the phones not the service. Last June when the 2 years were up on the phones I didn't do the free upgrades for new phones and just keep the phones we had so I can cancel Verizon anytime I want without paying penalties.. When my Daughters phone broke in November I bought a Verizon compatible phone elsewhere (for a lot less then Verizon's price for the same phone) and paid $10 for Verizon to activate it. I am also looking for a less expensive carrier but so far have found none that will work at my house.

My Daughter has been very sick since Sunday, yesterday the Doctors office called me and said to go out and get this stuff called Emergen-C. It's 1000Mg of Vitamin C in a powder you stir in water, and to also drink G2 thirst Quencher (not Gatorade). They said this Emergen-C stuff seems to be helping people get better quicker. Hope you feel better soon.

Been sick over two weeks, that is why I haven't been able to go see my new Granddaughter yet. My daughter sick again now.

Two couples were playing cards. Jeff accidentally dropped some cards on the floor. When he bent down under the table to pick them up, he noticed that Dave's wife, Sandy, was not wearing any underwear! Shocked by this, Jeff hit his head on the table and emerged red-faced. Later when Jeff went to the kitchen to get some refreshments Sandy followed him and asked, "Did you see anything under the table that you liked?" Jeff admitted, "Well, yes I did." She said "you can have it, but it will cost you $100." After a minute or two, Jeff indicates that he is interested. She tells him that since Dave works Friday afternoons and Jeff doesn't, that Jeff should come to their house around 2:00 PM on Friday. Friday came and Jeff went to her house at 2:00 PM. After paying her the $100, they went to the bedroom, had sex for a few hours and then Jeff left. Dave came home about 6:00 PM and asked his wife, "Did Jeff come by this afternoon?" Totally shocked, Sandy replied, "Yes, he did stop by for a few minutes." Next Dave asked, "Did Jeff give you $100?" Sandy thought, 'Oh hell, he knows!' Reluctantly she said, "Yes, he did give me $100." "Good," Dave says. "Jeff came by the office this morning and borrowed the $100 from me and said that he'd stop by our house on his way home and pay me back. It's so good to have a friend you can trust."

If the Doc says I can see my Granddaughter on Saturday the 12th I will be there. maybe if he says no I will come to the meet and eat and infect you all. LOL.

As I have posted I became a Grandpa for the first time New Years Eve and I have not yet seen my new Granddaughter. I have been sick and was planning on driving down to my sons house this Saturday to see Her and watch football. Went to the Doctors today and they did a chest x-ray and found that I have a lung infection now and Doctor said NO to seeing my Granddaughter. He did say I could go down there IF I wore a mask, rubber gloves, did not pick up the baby, and did not get close enough to breathe near her. Now what new Grandpa doesn't want to hold their new Grandchild? So got new meds and have to go back to Doc in a week and see if I get the OK to greet my Granddaughter properly. So for next weekend. P.S. For those of you on Medicare (like me) and have not refilled a prescription yet after the 1st of the year you may be in for quite a shock. One of my meds that I have to take went from a co-pay of $1.04 to $51.79. (before the 1st without insurance it was only $35.00 for 60 pills now with the NEW government improved pills they are $275.00 without insurance) Pharmacy said it's been a nightmare since the 1st because of new government guidelines on certain meds.

Well she finally decided to come out. Venessa Leigh Sabin 7lbs 9ozs. about 2 hours ago. This is my first Grandchild. Mother and Daughter doing fine.

If you ever detoured 100 miles out of your way just to catch 5 miles of twisties...Then went back the next day with friends because they were so cool.

Last word was that Roxana was having constant contractions but was so mild to her she was sleeping thru them. That was four hours ago and have heard nothing since then. WAIT: As I was typing this got a text from my son. They just gave her something that is making the contractions stronger. If it doesn't send her into labor they will stop this evening and break her water in the morning. Never heard of such a thing but I'm no Doctor, this is driving me crazy.
