    Figured I'd ask now so folks can let me know if they are interested. Either way I'm going to this. Oct 23rd is the BBQ festival in Lexington NC. Had a chat with U-turn I think about doing this. Anyway I have the link added here so you can check it out. As far as I can tell we'd have to park and then ride a shuttle bus to where the festival is. They don't want vehicles parked too close. Oh and they will tow. They do have a handicap parking area that is close to the festival. Now they start at 8:30 with their opening ceremonies but the BBQ tents don't open up till 10. So I'm figuring who needs to be there for the opening stuff, we're interested in the food. Plus they have some entertainment and of course souvenirs. I've never been to this festival but I haven't been to a festival I didn't like, they all have food. So let me know if you are interested and we'll set it up as a meet and eat.     Yes all the 2nd gears will go out usually around 62000 miles or so. Some can go early some a bit later. You can do the fix or get a tranny out of a Mark II (86 - 93). Then the problem will be solved for good. Margaret

    They have yearly subscriptions because that's what I have. The truck came with it for 6 months and I just kept it. Makes it a lot easier with all the traveling I've been doing. I'll add the one for the bike after Muffin gets home. Margaret

    Well if you don't get it figured out by next month when we all head to Asheville you can let us know where you live and the guys will show up. We'll be based at the KOA and a bunch at the super8 in Black Mountain. Margaret

    I'll post when we're gonna head to Deadwood. Want to make sure he gets here before we make any plans to meet up. Never know how long it's gonna take for him to get from where he is to Kuwait, then to the states. I will give plenty of warning though. Margaret

    Hey Swifty don't worry it's the south we always have a 30% chance of rain. Especially when it's hot and humid. Make sure you have her some rain gear. She'll be fine. Margaret

    Well these temps are normal where I am at. Now if you really want some hot temps over in Afghanistan it's easily up around 120. So do you feel cooler now? Just trying to help. Margaret

    Hey Boss glad you all made it back and had a safe trip. We never feel neglected. Now you really should fly down next time and then you'll have more time to visit. The family can come up to you as well. Heck if we all can so can they. Anyway glad you're back if not still in one piece. I don't know what we're gonna do with you.
