  1. Well the Harley dealer fed all of us so, you know how it is when you get free food. We even socialized with Harley riders. Heck we saw a 2nd gen trike and the guy ignored us and he parked literally right behind Salty. Obviously not one of us. We're all way friendly. Margaret
  2. That was funny! or maybe sad that I actually have an idea of what you're talking about. Shhhh don't tell anyone. Margaret
  3. Glad to hear it. Hope you don't run into any snow during your travels. Can't wait to see if you get the cam working, whatever you capture on it. Margaret
  4. Amazing how exciting getting your power, water or phone service back on isn't it. I remember when we lost all or ours. We all got excited when the water started to flow after another county sent us a generator to run our water plant. This was a few years back before I met any of this group. Glad things are looking up for you. Margaret
  5. Thom you do know there's mountains on your journey. Just picking on you. Have a great trip and be safe. We expect to hear from you along the way. Oh you may want to get a camera to take so we can see pics of your trip. Margaret
  6. Yeah well the pics won't hold it on by themselves. :rotf: Oh thanks Todd. That's the plan to paint it black at least first, then worry about adding any details I think is what Jeff's thinking. At least if it's black it matches better then now. Margaret
  7. It's a Harley and I do believe it's a 1903. Margaret
  8. Hey that's mean. I was just trying to help and the bridgstones are better then the metzlers now aren't they. Besides I didn't know anything about the three tires he mentioned for a bike. Only ever heard of the Pirrelli, and only for cars. So I really couldn't help him with those. I tried anyway, how many of the other gals even know about the tires? Hmmm. Margaret
  9. It's ok you can let your inner Geek out around here. Some of the folks might like to read what you have to say. We do seem to have some folks that let their inner geek out a bit around here. Margaret
  10. Don I didn't say we used the Bridgestone's just that they seem popular with some. I did tell him no on the metzlers, can I have extra credit for that. :rotf: Margaret
  11. Oh you're bad. Spanking to commence.:buttkick: Margaret
  12. Not sure anyone rides with any of those tires, but I'm sure the guys will let you know. Mostly the tires that seem to be most popular are Dulops Elite 2 or 3, Avons and Bridgestones. Just don't even look at the Metzlers. Otherwise your probably good. Margaret
  13. Heck I got a pit bull in it so I could get more then one boston terrier in it. :rotf: Margaret
  14. :rotf::rotf:Can't wait for him to read that part. Margaret
  15. Yes we have some that have them on 2nd gens. Margaret
  16. Here's a few pics of the car on the bike. I'm in one of the pics went for a short trip in it. Didn't really like the ride he said he has more to do, so I told him he should have waited to take me for a ride. Anyway the first dog in the car is our youngest Bernie she didn't want to stay in the car and jumped out. The other dog is our old girl and she went for a really short trip out one driveway and in the other. But she seems to have liked it. Hope he gets it all fixed maybe I'll give it another try then. Margaret
  17. Opps hit post instead of manage attachments. Here's the pics of the bikes at Golden Corral. We ate there last year. This year seems like alot of folks going on the ride ate there. It was pretty empty last year lots of folks there this year. Margaret
  18. Yep we were on the 86. Plus Bill (Poledar) was on his 86. I did get a few pics of them at Golden corral for breakfast. Margaret
  19. I think this is a great idea. Sometimes it's hard to get something across when explaining stuff this would make it alot easier to do it. Might have to make that a secret recording while mechanic is getting her tat. :rotf:Otherwise she might refrain from her screaming. Margaret
  20. Well just talked to my daughter she lives not far from rooster and she's on 1/4 of a tank and no gas to be had. This is odd cause the rest of the state has gas, actually our prices here are going down. So not really sure what the hold up is for the rest of the places to get gas. Margaret
  21. Great way to share your riding with your daughter for a good cause too. Hope they raised plenty of money. Margaret
  22. ok the 1st pic is Poledar and his pole dancer (and wife to be). 2nd pic is salty and kromerose 3rd one that coffin trike 4th one is muffinman with new member Mike Burke and his wife Sue (who hopefully will sign on here) she has a mini chopper I think is what you'd call it. Really cute. Didn't get those pics to come out so hopefully salty did. 8th pic some of the same folks but in the back on the left is a lovely lady we met there named Patty. She was waiting for her husband he went on the ride and she decided to meet him and not do the ride. Hopefully we'll have her signed up here too. She's got a suzuki with the voyager kit on it. I have a pic of it the last one. The 9th pic is the group coming in from the ride. Some idiot layed on his horn which got everyones attention. Kinda stupid with cops and bikers there. We let him live though. Margaret
  23. Here's a few pics from our ride for the Vietnam memorial this weekend. My camera evidently didn't take all the pics I thought it did. Had to change the batteries they seem to have been a bit weak. Oh well you'll get the point. Got a few interesting bikes like the one that's a coffin, and the betty boop one.
  24. Nice article Gene. Wow you two are famous now. :rotf:Are you both gonna remember the rest of us now? I'll show Jeff the article when he gets back, he took the bike with the hack out for a ride. Margaret
  25. She hasn't been to NM before on the bike so she's saving her memory for that. Not sure about that hugging thing you mentioned. Sure it's just a Texas thing and nothing else. :rotf: You guys stay safe and enjoy your trip. Margaret
