  1. I have the LED tail and the run/stop/turn Dynamic Clusters. I split the main brake lead under the seat and they all blink. Personally I like it. If I had the trunk wing I'd have it blink as well. I don't see any value added with a light staying solid. Other opinions may vary.
  2. BACK OFF ME! I HAVEN'T GOT IT BACK YET!! Oy. When (if ever) they get done painting I'll snap a photo and get it up. Parts in garage, bike in shop, days going by...
  3. I have the Avon WWW and just had the smaller front tire put on. Long story. Anyway, I haven't ridden with it yet as the bike is being painted. Going on the 3rd week of a 3 day job. Longer story. Sigh.
  4. Try to remember when I get her back.
  5. I saw those but didn't see the blank one. I'll have to look again. It's at the shop to help them match my paint which after two weeks isn't done.
  6. Mine's off right now for painting. I didn't see it on a quick look.
  7. I'd found that and hoped it would lead me to the promised land. However, it requires you to have the CD player and have it playing a blank disk. Not what we're looking for.
  8. That's what's in my original post. I just need someone to figure out how to get the two to work together.
  9. Where's the connection for the CD changer exactly?
  10. It says it only works with the new changers, but I wonder...
  11. The square is the ceNet. Two different critters.
  12. I'd found that. Says it won't work with c-bus.
  13. Alright. Who knows some electronics gurus up for the challenge? Anyone know a 12-year old electronics genius? Or a ham radio operator that loves tinkering. How do I get the two of these to work together? http://pinouts.ru/Devices/ipod_pinout.shtml or http://www.ipodlinux.org/Dock_Connector To work with Clarion 13-pin C-bus http://www.ultrajosh.com/images/Clarion_C-Bus.gif Any ideas? The goal is to have the dock/recharge for the iPod work with the installed system.
  14. Don't take it out of the coozie. I pop the coozie off the cap with the bottle still in it. It slips back on the cap easily with the bottle still attached. But yes, she'll still need her own.
  15. 1. I have read about changing the front tire to a narrower tire to improve handling. How does it do this? I was always under the impression that the closer the tire sizes the better the handling. I don't know how but I will have one on Wednesday for testing. 3. Cupholders? I have read about a couple of them with pros and cons but was hoping to hear from someone that has had one a while and still likes it. Someone suggested using a coozie and that's what I do. Pull the bottom out of a drink coozie and it sits on top of the fuel cap. With a 20 oz water in it the drink stays put. In fact it takes some effort to remove it for drinking but I don't have to worry about it falling off. 6. Exhaust. I don't want something obnoxious but after riding a Vmax and then a Warrior I can barely tell the RSV is running. What kind of upgrades has been done to add some sound? Not loud, just louder or throatier than stock. I have RK cans and did the full mod on them, drilling out both ends and the extra holes. Cost me $20 and some time since I had someone make me some brackets. My original cans were gutted and IMNSHO it sounded like farting in a tin can as someone so eloquently described it. The RK cans are cheap and you can play with them to get it where you want it. You'll need someone to ride it for you so you can really hear the new sound.
  16. Assuming it's for the RSV, Radio Shack or any other electronics area of a store. You're looking for a cable with headphone jack plugs on both ends of it (male). Plug into headphone and plug into aux connection on bike.
  17. Has he put air in the forks? There are fittings on the top of the fork to add up to 7# air in each fork. I'd try that before I went trying to change oil.
  18. Well this didn't help a bit. Still trying to decide.
  19. That "Harley Davidson sound" doesn't come stock. To improve performance or get that louder sound they change pipes. I had an ACE1100 with Bubs Big Willies and I sounded more HD than my buddy did with his stock RK pipes. I'd ask him if his was running.
  20. Comagination! Get the headlight and tail modulators for about $90 delivered.
  21. Some are using a conduit clamp, either rubber coated or wrapping rubber around the saddle bag mount. Just have to drill the hole bigger.
  22. Thanks. Good info to know since I got the RK mufflers today!
  23. Sent you mail.
