  1. It's pretty sweet. I rode a K1200LT with one and played around with it. It would be nice to adjust to allow more/less air.
  2. I've already ridden 2 of your 3. So for me it would be the Rocket III, Victory Vision, and Indian Dakota.
  3. Why does the word "cellphone" jump into my head? Although it could have been anyone of any age at this point.
  4. I did not add the equalizer. Mine do blink faster than stock, but not so fast as to be highly annoying. I'll get a vid of them and post it somewhere so you can see. I also have the LED front signals that go from full on to off instead of dimming the bulb.
  5. I have the one from Customdynamics. I say it is as bright on run as the 1157 bulb is on brake, and on brake it's insanely bright, especially at night. I haven't seen the other one, but for twice the money, I'm happy with the $60 version. I added the run/stop/signal dynamic clusters from them as well and am happy. A crappy pic is in my gallery on here of them all lit up.
  6. Given that I've had help from the forum with my wrenching fiasco, I'm doing a little myself. I have a set of gutted stock cans (mufflers) that I took off and did the RK Stage IV mod. I like them and won't put the stocker's back on. If you've toyed with gutting your stock cans, you can try these for the cost of shipping. I got a set of the RK cans off the RKR forum for shipping which was about $20. They are a bit tarnished but if you want to see what it's like they are yours for the shipping.
  7. First, congrats on picking the "right" RSV! The passenger doesn't add much to the equation if they sit and lean as they are supposed to. On and off only after you tell them to. Most of the time when I let mine off I just put it on the stand, which is how I kill the bike anyway. If you aren't running the smaller MT90-16 front tire, get one. It improves the parking lot and slow speed maneuvering and is worth the investment. Just remember to do some easy riding until you get used to the difference.
  8. Didn't figure his cycle would last too long. Congrats on a new toy.
  9. I'd take the trunk rack...
  10. Interesting. But of course that's the best color combo.

  12. From the letter I received from Avon, I just came back from putting 42 psi front and 48 psi rear. DO IT!!! That's what I was looking for when I bought the Avon's in the first place. High speed much improved and sticky in the twisties. Try it, you'll like it.
  13. Looks good and I've been considering the grips as well when I do the mod.
  14. I have the Barron's risers and am not happy. So I'm looking at getting some bars and doing a mod over the bad weather. Anyone have some good pics of the bars installed, showing them from the side and year? I'd like to see what they look like installed.
  15. I got home from officiating a soccer match last night and put oil in it about 10:00. Came back and checked for leaks. Cranked it up and checked. Took a short ride and checked. Then took it out riding. The ride into work this morning was fantastic, even though the destination was work.
  16. Haven't noticed that it's any faster but the radio seems to be stuck on the oldies station all of a sudden.
  17. It’s alive. IT’S ALIVE!!! Two weeks after stupidity, the venture lives… Pan I was sent I put on Monday night. It leaked. Took it back apart and looked like I’d pinched the thin paper gasket. RTV to the rescue. Filled and fired it up last night, no drips, no runs, no errors. Finally. And Thanks to Jeff for helping out a forum member in his shining moment of complete stupidity.
  18. Sent you an email a minute ago. Rich
  19. It's off the bike. I'm working on getting a used one if I can.
  20. Like an elephant went poo-poo. If I'd pulled it after I did it, or got a mirror to look at it I might have had time to get one in prior to the weekend. The break was opposite of where I was "working" from.
  21. So I'm off attempting repairs only to discover I am king of the idiot moves. I'm waiting for a salvage place to call me. I broke the mounting hole for the drain plug. I didn't strip the threads. I broke the cast aluminum sump. If I had used a mirror to check it or taken it off Monday when I did it I might have had time to ship it in. No dealers stock it and it's $150. My life sucks.
  22. I may get back to you on that. Thanks.
  23. The LED bulbs are not worth the money. Not bright enough. The LED boards have dropped to some $60 shipped. I spent $130 on my 1st one 3 years ago and still felt it was money well spent. When I picked up this bike I immediately went after the LED board and was giddy to find out the price had dropped for such a great product. The board has 3 white LED lights pointing up to illuminate the license plate. Spend the bucks. The rear of our scoot is horribly dark. The LED on run is as bright or brighter than the 1157 bulb on brake. On brake the LED board is AMAZINGLY BRIGHT! Do it. Buy it. Get it. I guarantee you get behind her at night and have someone pull the brake for you to look at it and you'll be asking why you didn't get one sooner.
