Any one ever re-built a auto Trany ?? My son and I are going to give it a shot, he has a Z71 and the trany is toast, he baught the re-build kit ( Borg-Warner ) it came with a DVD and instruction manuel, so it may not be to bad, if all turns out good it will save him around a grand, they want $300 for a junk yard trany and after all the work it may be no good also, so thought we would try this our selves. any tips would be great!! It is a ride, where all riders meet up at one place ( starting point) there is a time limit, say 3hrs. each is given a map of locations that they need to stop at, at each stop, they sign in and draw a card. after they have made all of their staops, they meet back at the starting point and who ever got the best hand ( of cards ) wins... most rides charge like $20.00 or so to play and that money goes to what ever org they are raising money for. I don`t know Leather, but it looks like it`s striaght off the cow.. it is about 1/8in thick, it doesn`t have much hair on it.. hope this helps. Kreg

hhhmmm lets see... no, allready have a wife..... got 2 dogs......fish....a horse.....a ^%$#@ Cat..... LOL I don`t know, really... I didn`t have anything in mind, I s`pose just through somthing out there, and I`ll see if I need it. As far as the hide goes, I will not use it, and do not want it to get ruined.. so if some one can make use of it..

Janets ( Lil Tex ) knee surgery went well, it was a very long day, but she is home. Hopefully this will be the last that she has to go through. She has a brace from her hip to the top of her foot, and trying to learn to use crutches is always fun, but she`s getting it... plenty of pain meds, stay off her feet for a few days and all should be good.. Please keep her in your prayers!! Kreg
