as i understand, "cruise control", it tells the engine to "pull" at a constant speed.the road friction, determines how hard the engine has to work. as soon as traction ,with the road surface , is lost due to water ,snow ,ice, whatever, the engine surges because there is NO traction. then when , traction is regained, the bike/auto, "shoots forward , or in what ever direction , you might have been re-directed toward! just jt

lol NO , mike. i didn't get around to what i ride/tinker with. he was just not a friendly person, i guess. MOST "winter Texans", are that way! i do know , that there are only three parks, here locally, where he could be spending the winter. i will look him up. or maybe not. it's like the others said."his loss". at least i made an "honest texican approach"! just jt

this is a FIRST, for me. i am one of those people who NEVER meets a stranger. today, i saw a guy walking around in the local grocery store, wearing a "star riders", tee shirt. it said "CENTRAL NEW JERSEY, STAR GROUP" or something similar. and also said "chapter 118". i asked him , if he rode a yamaha, thinking that would get a conversation started. he answered YES i ride a royal star. i asked if he'd ever been to our web site. again "yes, i've been there a few times". then he just turned and walked away!!!!!! first time i EVER met a biker, who didn't want to talk your ear off, about his bike!!!!! maybe that's just the way people are in that part of new jersey, i don't know. i was stationed in "Lakehurst", in the first part of 1970, but i don't remember being allowed to interact with the locals. just jt

sitting here, at my home away from home. wind is "howling", outside. temps dropping fast. 6:00 am today, temp was 60. 6:00 am tomorrow, temps will be 34, with a wind chill factor that makes it "Feel", like 27! this part of the country, is where GOD, invented the "common cold". just jt p.s., mammamo, i like crunchy cookies! even with a small amount of "black" crust on the bottom! (i raised two girls, and a boy, who ALL thought they were going to be "pastry chefs!!!
