I was headed home from work this morning and I went past the Victory dealer. There was a sign up that said they now offering a "5 year warrenty". Ok, it was 3am so I circled back and read the sign again. Yep. That's what it said. Anybody hear anything on this or are they just pushing some outside party "extended" warrenty BS to make some sales?

This morning I rode in to work and was given a gift by the city of a surprise of loose gravel on pavement by the city. Right on a highway off ramp. I made it to work safe, and decided that the only way to get things done is to be noisy. I decided to email the mayor and politely described what was wrong and how a simple sign warning me would have made the highly dangerous situation his guys caused a less dangerous one. I also informed him that another motorcyclist may get seriously hurt if they don't get a sign posted right away. I also let city officials know about sand on the roads and other problems that make a road incredibly dangerous to a motorcycle. Do you? are you your community's Squeaky wheel that complains about dangers and dangerous roads?

Since I'm too lazy to go out and check myself I thought I'd pop the question. When removing the rear upper frame assembly, do I need to worry about it being a part of the support holding the frame together, and will it make things go very bad...very quickly if not supporting the chasis. Tom Patterson's old '90 parts bike took a shot to the rear and bent up the trunk mount and frame, and lo-and-behold I actually have another upper... to replace the bent one. The rest of the frame looks pretty straight. I just wanted to make sure that the whole rig doesn't go ka-plooey when I take out that last bolt....

i have a issue with my air ride system that i dont get, soldered all 6 points in the board, put the beads in oven, cleaned all connections, put the bike together and yea, it works,im sooo happy, day 2, worked 2x then, e2, then it worked again, then e2, then it worked again, day3, e4, what! then e4, and again and again, what the @#$%, on the good note i can touch my feet flat on the ground at a stop sign, any ideas?

Great weather this weekend. Did anybody get a ride? MamaMo has had to work 7 days a week now since some employee turnovers recently. We went to the grocery store after work and got back to the camp at 5:00 am Sunday morning.Kind of weird eating supper at 1:00 am but hey she was buying so what the heck country fried steak is not bad at any hour. The front yard was full of spring red breasted robins today. That is a good sign that spring is here. I'm still nursing a strained muscle in my neck right shoulder after unloading some heavy firewood a few weeks ago.I keep irritating the thing rolling over in my sleep.The march wind has dried up the front yard so It's time to brave that crossing soon.I'll probably buy a new battery for the 89 this week.

I just Installed my new chrome wheels and tires on the trailer,I also made a cover for my spare tire from some diamond plate I had in the garage.I also added a rt.66 sign to the old cooler just for looks.Jerry M

Well, I was in Woodland Park, CO a couple of weeks back getting my youngest nephew married off (I got to be the holder of the shotgun). While there, On top of seeing the sights, I shot ColoNavy a couple of PM's and did a little sight seeing. This of course involved seing a few of our favorite sights, primarily the summitt of Pike's Peak. We drove the Dodge up to the top. It was arond 9:00 AM up there when we pulled in. The air temp was 34 degrees according to my truck's computer. The chill index was 19. Nice, brisk wind blowing out of the south. We did our usual lookin' around the top, snappin' pictures as we went. Then we came back around to the sign by the summitt house, the one with the name of the mountain and the elevation. Now everyone has their picture taken in front of the sign, it's expected. I remembered that I just happened to have one of my tubas in the back of the truck, momma had the camera. I also happened to have a Kelly mouthpiece in the horn, it's made of Lexan, that means it won't stick to moist lips in freezing temps. took a ride with a yamaha star chapter this past sat....group is basically new, formed in may.....there were about 12 bikes, i was #4.....got on the on ramp to merge onto an interstate. this ramp has a stop sign because of construction.....i approached the sign , and accelerated away...girlfriend on the back.....the rider behind me on a valkrie, blows past me.......i was pissed....now, do i say something to this guy ...i don't know the exact rules of group riding, but this can't be right........yes or no.....

Well I'm headed to West Montrose tomorrow for the cyclefest once again , as you folks know now there is some great riding in the Kitchener area and I enjoy it every year ...sounds like the weather is going to be great ...well except maybe tomorrow (Friday) ....got the camper packed and ready to go .....come on over and visit ...just look for the RedKnights sign ...there well be about 18 of us this year in our small group ...thank gawd these people like my wife .....(last comment is for all the smart a$$'$ on here) she has friends and they put up with me LOL:stickinouttounge:
