leaving shortly for court.i dont think anything significant will go down today...i believe its basically for him to have to make an apearance...im kind of notted up with the thought of seeing him for the first time since that night and i hope Dale is able to control himself when he sees him. Probably no real reason for us to be there other than the fact i want him to have to see us.....to see the looks on our faces.......to feel our presence....i imagine they will set a court date for his bond reduction motion. let ya all know what happens.

Took another long vacation? I got to get down there and get our 89. Wait maybe he took the 89? Looks like the 89 will be at Asheville. This 99 got some issues and just to much going on to do a rush job on the paint. The painter is leaving on vacation on his Harley anyway.

Stopping in Iowa to meet a fellow biker (nyuk), and then out through Nebraska through the sand hills and then some how some way to get to Denver / Thornton CO. to my daughters and then Tuesday 22nd to meet up with Big John for dinner and a meet and greet near there. Then the following weekend headed home and hopefully meet up with OB-1 out in Wyoming (east side) near the Black Hills and putts around there for a while. then back to Minnesota and Paul Bunyon and the 10,000 lakes for a much needed rest. See ya all when I get back.

Well, my wife (Debbi) and I will be leaving tomorrow morning on our first long bike trip. Leaving Edmonton, Alberta around 7am. Will be going into Regina, Sask. and Rouleau, Sask. where Corner Gas is filmed. The we are off to Billings, Montana, then Butte, and then Great Falls. From there, back up to Canada to Vulcan, Alberta and then home. Now, because of the crappy weather we have been having, we might do Vulcan first and to Rouleau on Sunday. Anyway, just though I would post in case anyone wanted to meet up for coffee alone the way. I won't have a computer with me however, feel free to text me at 780-920-5249 (do not enter a 1 at the beginning because text messaging is not long distance). Don't be shy, text me. Would love to meet some members along the way. Now, lets all bow our heads and pray for some NICE WEATHER. Hope to see some of you soon.

Well my stay in Florida has come to an end. We are leaving about 5am Wed. morning. Gonna take the tollroad from Boynton Beach to I-75 into Georgia then jumping on I-24 in TN and into Ky and making a stop in Morganfield to see some family then on to St. Louis then Kansas City then hopping on I-29 into Iowa and into Nebraska on I-80 then to Cheyenne and home to Ft. Collins, Colorado. We have decided that after the wifey has her hip replacement on the 21st and gets all healed up that we are moving to FL to live near her family. Wifey gets the stent out of her kidney on Tuesday...what a road warrior she is. I have posted a few pics at www.tattootate.50megs.com under the "Florida Trip" link and will post more when I get home.

Several of us are leaving for a long tour from Southern, Az up through Yellowstone and further North in the Montana area. We are leaving on Saturday May 24 and will be up in that area sometime after May 26. Weather forecast indicates rain and maybe lots of it. I am fairly new to the RSV. I have an 06 RSMV and one of the guys going with has a 05 RSMV. How do these scoots hold up in riding in the rain? We don't want any surprizes. I rode a 99 SE 1500 Goldwing up in that area last year and got poured on. The wing came through with flying colors I am assuming the Venture's will do the same. Another guy is riding the new Victory Vision.

Well I was able to get to it earlier than I thought, attached are photos of Erich just prior to leaving my home with his new ride.

Laura and I took a ride to Gatlinburg today and it was a beautiful ride. It got up to about 80 degrees as we got there. We came in thru the east end that comes from I40. We had a good meal at Legend's and walked around and did a little shoping. The sidewalks were about full of people. As we were leaving. I moved over into the right lane that goes up the hill as you are leaving the main drag. I was getting a bit irritated because I had a large Chevy pickup or SUV following me real close. Just about the time I got to where the big parking garage was on my right, a car in the left lane going the same direction as me allowed another big SUV to turn left in front of him, right into my path. We were in just a few feet from each other when I saw her and she saw me. When she got stopped, she was over halfway into my lane. Fortunately, with the traffic, I was not moving fast, but if I had hit her, we would have gone down. I was able to brake hard and move to my right. I don't know how the truck behind did not run into me unless with him being higher up, he was able to see what was going on before I did. Anyway, it was real close and it sure made me think about some of the crashes we have had with this group this year. It can happen real quick. RandyA That should have been "Close call in Gatlinburg today"
