Hi all, I can't get the CLASS working on my 1984 Royal, when I put the ignition on ACC, to get the class working, it does a quick scan and then goes onto 0, which is great as no errors, but when I press the Auto/Manual button, nothing? It should obviously go to manual, I have taken the class unit apart as it did have some grubby/sticky buttons and I also checked that the solder joints were good, which they are. I've also checked the valve assembly & pump which all seems good, I took out the connector for the valve assembly pressure sensor and got an error 4 message, put it back in and the error was gone, so I know the CLASS is working, any ideas?

Hey Don, over the past month or so I have been having an increasing number of LONG load times on pages here, sometimes it is clocked for several minutes, sometime it finally returns an error (usually a browser error). These happen at least two or three times every time I visit the site now. When these are happening, I can switch to another window or tab and access all other web sites perfectly, so it really doesn't seem to be my network or ISP. I haven't tried to run a trace route on the forum site yet, so it's possible it is a network bottleneck somewhere between North Texas and the hosting company. Just thought I'd post this here to see if others are seeing the same types of problems before I do anything else. Goose

Hi all, I have a problem with my CB. I have had my trunk off for awhile and I put it back on yesterday. After install I was checking to make sure everything worked and when I got to the CB I got a "CBer" on my display. When I first pushed the CB button the light on the display would come on and just for a half-second the CB channel would display and then I would get the error. I believe it has always done this but I've never used the CB so I was not concerned about it. Until, on the Alabama M&E I saw how handy it could be so now I'm wanting to get it fixed. Any Ideas?

Not to slam medical professions, please understand this. A buddy of mine got seriously wrong medication from the pharmacy. I think he will be ok but it is a problem. Bottom line, folks - know what is going in your mouth or butt or where ever when you get meds from pharmacy or doctor or in hospital. Know what your meds look like, and ask the question if something doesn't seem right, in color, size, shape or anything else. It could be a generic drug and different manufacturers products will look different. It could be a change in dose that you are not aware of - but it could be an error. ASK QUESTIONS! My wilfe and I have had way too much experience in hosptials etc. And we caught more than one mistake. You have to know what you are getting. Ask. Especially ask if it is not familiar to you. You know what it is supposed to look like and don't be afraid to ASK! Got to take care of your self. Don't depend on someone else to do that for you.

Thanks to Freebird for the 2006 post on soldering the CLASS controller circuit board. It was just what the doctor ordered after spending several hours trying to figure out why I was getting the error and erratic behavior. Ray Vick near San Diego 86 VR w/ 98 K mi

Hello People, I'm new to this site and have lots of questions. I just bought a 92 Venture form a guy at work. He pretty much wheels and deals with bikes. This one has 70K miles on it. It needed some TLC, so I got a deal(I Think). So far I have replaced the vacuum lines on the cruise, replaced the carb boots which mount the carbs to the head, replaired several electrical connections including the E4 error for the suspension controller. Now I need to replace fork seals and brakes. My main question is on the rear rotor, which bikes have rotors that are interchangeable with this bike? Are any compatable front to rear? I have been looking on ebay and have seen some. I am on a limited budget and would like to have enough to spread around to other areas that need work also. Thanks for any input:cool10:
