  1. I'm thinking the one I posted might be a replica since they say so many things have been re-done on it.
  2. Interesting.... I sent them an email ... it will be interesting what their response is. The Email___________________________________________ Can you tell me the spec on the go-cart? Also, is this the actual vehicle used in the Batman movies or is it one of the replicas built afterwards for use in car shows? If the actual one, is it the first one or the second one?
  3. Looking at the pics it appears it might be as it does have front wheels (which are raised up)
  4. nahhhhhh... she'd be afraid I'd fly away on it :rotf: (either that or I'd turn into a vampire and bite her neck....)
  5. Then you gotta have this.... http://vancouver.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-motorcycles-street-cruisers-choppers-1966-YAMAHA-CUSTOM-BATCYCLE-COLLECTIBLE-W0QQAdIdZ211679405
  6. We had a rare SUNNY and WARM Nov day yesterday. It was pushing 60 F (that's appx 16 celcius) so I took a day off work, completed a few "honey do's" in the morning and went for a great 3.5 hour ride in the afternoon.
  7. I don't watch a lot of TV ... the news @ dinner time, maybe a 1 hour show after that a couple times a week, a good movie, etc. What I really like about our TV "package" tho is the music channels.
  8. Just like Brad ... we're on satellite TV and this is my second "go around" with it as I had it way back in 1998 or so. Our phone and internet is supplied by Telus Communications. Having said that, we are switching to Telus's new offering called "Optik TV". We can get a "package deal" which includes an HD PVR system and a free Xbox 360 for less than we now pay when all 3 services are added up (we currently don't have the PVR system). IMHO, satellite is still a pretty good system tho but I don't think I'd ever use it for my internet.
  9. Here in Vancouver BC Canada, we also have, in some shopping malls, reserved spots for "expecting mothers". My feeling is if they feel they need it, great! .. ya, there are abusers but yanno, there are so many other things "out there" that can irritate a person and some days it's hard to not let the "small stuff" get to you. "Small stuff" like seeing a person parking in a hadicapped parking spot when it "appears" they don't really need it. Why let that irritate yourself ... ya can't solve all the worlds "issues" so go on about your business and forget about such things. Me? ... heck, I get razzed because I almost always park in the "back forty". I am so fortunate to be in good health and still fairly physically fit (although at 63 I ain't the man I was at 35 LOL). Reading these posts in this thread .... wow people, I can't imagine what you all have to go through or how you do it but reading some of the stories sure humbles a guy like me. You all ROCK!
  10. Ranting is good and there's lots of ears here! It is hard tho to not pre-judge sometimes ... for example, sometimes I just get a "feeling" about a total stranger ... hard to shake it after that. But the fact is, when you have the necessary "disabled plaque" ... you are entitled to be able to use it. Liken the situation to being sick but not really looking sick... I mean geeeez ... just because ya don't look sick doesn't mean ya don't feel like crap.
  11. Let's see ... if 100 mph is = 160.9 km/h then that means I've had my RSV up to 130 mph and my '85 up to 140 mph (according to the speedo's ... but we all know they read LOW )
  12. Considering I'll be retireing in 3.5 years and what my finacial situation will be.... I'll probably still have the same cassette playin' bike in 2020 too!! oh ... correction ... I removed the cassette
  13. ya... well... so what's a shooter or two in comparison to Apple Crisp !!
  14. SEM is a great product. I did the same thing on my '87 "Mellow Yellow" and changed the seat, etc to grey when I painted the scoot Black. That product stood up pretty well over 3 summers and now the scoot has gone to another owner (2 years ago) so I'm not sure how they're looking today but heck... 3 summers of use ... so what if ya had to do them again after that period of time.
  15. Those guys are all GAY! As for the 6-pak, most REAL MEN have a KEG!
  16. yes... leaving you right out of it...
  17. ah yes.... you received an "anonymous tip" .... while the rest of us found out about it thru jrsc4excel's public announcement.... uh-huh!
  18. I did... for a while.... until I found out you and I are related.....
  19. Diet Water... geeeeesh ... has this world gone crazy or what?
  20. heh... well, I certainly hadn't imagined that surprise... but it did cause my imagination to go a bit wild!
  21. are suprises ever expected?
  22. That "back" one had "stubbies"
  23. WOW ... when Brian mentioned "young ladies" I don't think he fully understood what he was sayin! ...
  24. That's a very good idea ... one I will remember if such a thing happens ... and take pics before removal.
  25. :thumbsup2: Way to go!!! Gotta tell ya .. living around here is one major exercise in anger management ... every waking minute of every day! One of these days, some poor sukkah is gonna feel the effects BIG TIME when I am no longer able to hold myself back!
