wish i could, but yesterday stepped off my porch into a hole...pull ligaments in my foot killed riding for awhile....left foot...can't step down on toes or heel....3weeks + or says the DR.

when somebody buys a harley there seems to be a spirit that overcomes a lot of these buyers. they get a cocky attitude and a swagger that says mine's better or bigger than. they also seem to be the one seen more than anybody else NOT wearing a helmet just that protective do-rag. Those of us riding metric bikes just kinda blend in when they are not as noisey and we have the right gear on. Crotch rockets? usually weaving in and out of traffic at a breakneck speed and or riding on the rear wheel. again they make us blend in with the scenery. If they weren't the scapegoats of bike riders we would be.

On second thought, anybody mentioned Las Vegas yet ? You've got hills, Hooverdam, light shows in the evening, etc.

The driver is 52, anything could have happened to him to cause this. 3 second siezure is all it takes. My grandson has them when he forgets his meds.

actually had my grandaughter(13yr old speed freak) with me...she wanted to know if we were doing 80 yet and why it took me so long to ride at 80 ! ! !

Had mine up to 110 last fall with two up.....felt like it had a bit more in it. Then sanity kicked in.

your right about $4 a gal. rode to work yesterday 130 mile got 46+ mpg...yammer start buying up those old 500-900cc relics...ther will be a good market for them. Here the dealers a telling tales of 24hr turnarounds on pre-owned bikes..can't get enough of them.

NOT THIS IS ABSOLUTLEY THE CHOKE....PULL OUT IDLE GOES UP AND MOTER RUNS GOOD, PUSH IN AND IDLE GOES DOWN....NO TWIST OR TURN. EVEN HAS THE CHOKE SYMBOL ON IT. sOME CRAZY CAJUN PUT THE CARBS ON 180 DERGRESS OUT ? I ALWAYS WONDERED CAUSE MY RSTD HAD IT ON THE LEFT , BUT THIS ONE IS ON THE RIGHT.

Kbay And I Have The Same Venture. Same Color, Same Year, Etc. No Not Totally. We Both Noticed His Choke Pull Is On The Left Side And Mine Is On The Right. Mine Having Come From Louisiana(small Third World Country), Could Be On The Wrong Side As The Antenea's Were Backwards Too. Anybody Else Have The Choke On The Right Side?

Kreg, The Rsv Is Fixed...was On My Way Home From Pasadena And Stop At Another Dealer. He Had This Thing Two Weeks Ago And It Was Still There Saturday. My Wife Told Him We Want It. She Was Ready To Negociate A Few Accesories In To The Deal Till He Told Her The Price. It Went Down $600 In Two Weeks. No Complaints..just Praise - God Is Good. Rode The Venture All Day Saturday And Sunday. Still Enjoy/love It But In Traffic And Downtown Streets, Well Those Bumpy Streets Just Don't Do It Any Good.

you know what......i still have my mind, i think. the best part is testing my friends here to see how gullible they could be. I did buy the above mentioned, but it is only 800cc's and it stirctly for commuting thru downtown houston....i kept my baby green v4....best ride i have ever owned.

got rks on my venture now. used to have some kind of open megaphones on it....nearly deaf now. but the only time I really enjoyed those loud pipes was at a stop light next to some punk kid who bass vibrated everything within a 400 yard radius. then a few 3000 rpm blast's right in his ear was pure joy and satisfaction.

he may be old and frail, but once you got down here there would be plenty of us to help him up and down...maybe too much attention would spoil him? are you afraid of that?
