distancerider replied to distancerider's topic in Watering Hole
Thanks Kid and ATLM. I am familuar with "She Rides" and will give them a call. -
Has anyone had any experience with the Tourmaster Elite II 2 piece rainsuit. My Frog Toggs are worn out and I want to try something different. I have read some good reviews and I like the way they look. Any thoughts? http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/catalog/Elite-Series-II-2-Piece-Rainsuit-Jacket-p-84_8.html

However, the weather forecast doesn't look good for your trip. Yea, I'm hoping I can squeeze by Thursday on the way up with some sunshine and then I'll have the family and cage for Fri and Sat. Sunday coming home however looks like I'll get to rinse off the rain gear.

Thoughts and prayers are with you. I know it will go well.

Thanks guys. I'm anxious to give it a try. Randy, I wish I knew for certian. We are headed to Blueridge for the weekend. The family is leaving Thursday morning, I have two "can't miss" meetings on Thursday. Depending on how they go I'll be leaving Atlanta anywhere from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. If I get a better feel for the time tomorrow I'll PM you, DQ would be great.

Has anyone ridden Hwy 60 called Morgantown Hwy from Dahlonega to Blue Ridge? I am headed up to Blue Ridge Thursday and usually go to Blairsville and take the Zell Miller Mountain Parkway to Blue Ridge. Looking at the map I thought this time I might take Hwy 60 and wondered if anyone had any experience on it?

Created my own Wind Tunnell
distancerider replied to distancerider's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Thanks for the comments, but I realize I may be the "odd man out" here. I prefer to look through the windshild; always did on the goldwing. Do most of you prefer to look over?? -
Created my own Wind Tunnell
distancerider posted a topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I have seen the posts concerning the wind deflectors to keep the “breeze off the knees”. For whatever reason when my feet are on the floorboards this does not bother me. However, when I throw my feet op on my highway pegs I’ve created this wind tunnel which routes the wind straight up my legs and onto my upper body / face. At highway speeds it is pretty irritating for long stretches and I like to have my legs extended; I’m 6’5”. Will the deflectors reduce this wind as well? It seems as though they would not help this situation - but if you think they will work, though I’m not a big fan of the look, I’ll definitely try adding them. Second question: I am considering the taller – wider windshield because ..well I’m taller and wider. Has anyone had experience with these? -
OK, I hate to say this but I can't see or find the pictures you speak of. I know it must be something simple but ???
