GuthDaddy,I dont know what time he left but he will be here shortly and the Busch Beer is COLD..Its a little after 3PM and he has the Shock.......If the lurkers see this post EVERYONE of them should join,Help is always a post away anywhere in Canada or USA...Heck,I guess around the world! I always know there is a member somewhere that will help me if I break down! We are MORE than just a group of riders,as someone said , kind of like Family!

Thanks To all the guys that tried to help! I wasnt able to make calls as I was driving my WalMart truck and couldnt get on my laptop.Thanks Guys! We will get him rolling Saturday Morning as I think Goose is picking up the shock in FT Worth unless it has already been shipped overnight.Thanks Goose! i have a works progressive on mine. can take mine off and order another,or do as goose said,,hard tail. im against riding with just air. if it blows it wwill squat.bad news.

simple oil question

I doubt it will leak..Ive seen it changed in high mileage bikes and none leaked. Autos,high mileage YES. I like MasterGuns use 20/50 in our HOT Texas climate. Yes Synthetic. -

Skid,when mine went I first started hearing a squeak/rub noise then one day a puddle of oil on the floor in the garage.If I am correct you just bought this bike? If so the oil MAY have already come out on previous owner. It will still hold air and some members are running it this way ,BUT,if that air goes the bikes rear end will hit the pavement,no support at all. It will seem very bouncy and easy to push down in the back if oil is gone.

Glad you are doing OK Dooder! I know from my experience, my neck surgery, DR said not to ride my motorcycle,"All Bets were off" he said...He was a little PO'd when he went outside and I rode off on my motorcycle! That was 2003! Live life to the fullest!

A friend of mine has one..GREAT machine BUT The rear tire is only gonna last you about 6000 miles and you have no other choices..I know a CT but not for he or I. Tom
