  1. For me 1201 weight rating as most GW rear tires only have an 827lb rating. Also I like the run flat aspect of it. I let the air out of it and while I did notice a difference it was a good feeling knowing I could ride on to a tire repair place if I had to.
  2. I will not try and talk anyone into a CT and yes I run one and will not go back to a MC tire onthe GOLDWING. The lead guy in the video isn't that good of a rider, on a Wing there isn't any sense in using the body English he is putting out. While I am a mediocre rider not many will stay with me IF DEBBY ISN'T ON THE BIKE. I've ran the CT IN pouring rain never letting up for curves and it sticks like glue PLUS has a 1201 lb rating for my fat a$$. My advise is DO NOT RUN A CT IF YOU ARE GOING TO CONSTANTLY BE THINKING OF IT ON THERE. That was my mistake at first, now catch me IF you can.
  3. Mark, I am sorry for your loss. Words are never enough but we do care.

  5. Yep, he is with the first one and she seems to be a great person. I think she can handle Lowell!

  8. So glad things are improving prayer will be continued.
  9. Ditto. I saw it and again why was that necessary? My thoughts on the debacle was negative. IF anyone saw the Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood duets Saturday night I must say it was AWESOME and I had previously thought he was washed up.
  10. Nice!
  11. to be honest I have never shot a 1911 but will when I get the chance. Ain't that far to Midland/Odessa. May have to get you to show me a few things about them....Can never have to many guns.
  12. Not to mention darn good accuracy out of the box. Just renewed my CCL and scored a perfect score. Ugly guns but very reliable.
  13. Try and make the Leakey Meet...You will not soon forget it. Not only Motorcycle talk and riding but seminars on Duck Hunting and the making of wild Game Calls on a Poor Mans Budget! We are one big talented group. Oh yea did I mention FREE FOOD and Margaritas???? April 27,28,29 Stay all 3 nights or just 2 nights, check the Calendar on here.
  14. Envy! Those are SWEET BIKES. Can't wait to see it in Leakey are you going to lower it?
  15. Wishing you the best. Decisions like this are hard.
  16. You are EXACTLY right Eddie. I loved my RSV but I wanted a new bike and waited for Yamaha to update..Nothing, so I had to jump ship. IF Yamaha ever Updates I will probably add one to the stall. But I will keep the Wing also. Nice bike you have bought!
  17. It isnt whether you ride a Harley or Yamaha or Gold Wing or any other bike..Its about the friendship and friends you have met along the way.. January 22,2012 Downtown Luckenbach,Texas with Gary N and Mary. Listening to the guys pickin and singin in 70+ degree weather sun shining...Life is good in TEXAS!
  18. The RSV and RSTD are powerful BUT you HAVE TO KEEP THE RPMS HIGH. If you don't you will THINK it is a dog. I loved mine but got tired of waiting on Mama Yamaha to get a little high tech. They didn't so I jumped ship. After getting the Wing to fit me ive never been happier. Don't get me wrong, you do have to do a few mods to make it a GREAT bike. A Wing isn't for everyone but for me.....it's a blast to ride.
  19. I sit identical on a Wing or a RSV.Flatfooted, just barely on both.
  20. I can't hardly wait till my birthday in 2013
  21. And we will be waiting for the end result............
  22. Prayers are and will be sent here in Texas.

  24. Well it has been a really GREAT day for me. First GaryN stopped by the house,he is wintering here in Texas and not to far from me and then low and behold I talked with PONCH on the phone..He is doing great, recognized my voice on the phone,(Dont know how anyone would recognize my voice), and he is doing good and at home. He is still doing therapy 3 times a week but he is really a tough cookie! Thanks to both of the guys for our visit today. Gary, we will be camping with you in Kerrville week after next. Going to watch the weather and stay 2-3 days at the Buckhorn with you and Mary. Ride safe my friend!!
