    Like said you don't need to go anywhere. And we need to know about that FJR. If I ever buy another new one it will probally be a FJR Or a Victory or a Gold Wing or a 2.. 2.. I can't say IT!!

    Each to their own. I've been down a "few" times and if I keep riding will probally do it again. I want as much between me and the road as possible but don't want to "dress up" any more than anyone else when it gets warm. If pain lets me know i'm alive then I'm fully aware of that fact and need no more proof. I will wear my leather and a Full Faced helmet and won't give you my opinion of bike or beanie helmets. Or mention what they do for the Gene pool.

    I didn't say it!! But did you have any in it when you put it away? Sta-Built works good for storage but I like Sea-Foam.

    Wouldn't have done it if they hadn't let me wear my helmet!!! I've almost always got jeans on. Leather jacket, boots, gloves and FULL FACE HELMET!!! If it get too hot I put the jacket in one of the bags. I ride with a guy that wears Flip-flops & shorts... Any body know him??

    Coated mine with NAPA Plasti Dip and they have been good to go.

    Warmed "Ugly" up and listened to those Jardines today. Little too cool to sneak her out the way I'm feeling and Warden is watching close!! Going to tinker a little tomorrow and let sun bake me. This weekend is looking great.

    Bring it to MD and Do the Carb Sync!! These big V-4s are picky about their carbs. Bring it to MD and I'm sure you can get lesson in doing it and good advice on what you need to keep up with it.

    Sea-Foam Run the tank down to less than 1/2 tank and give it full can of sea-Foam. Run it as low as you can and leave it sit overnight at least. Couple days is better before you fill it back up.

    What is it about going South and catching colds?? Seems like every time I go south for a few days I catch a cold. This time is worse. Thing has been hanging on for a week and not getting any better. More like flu. I'm sorry Georgia for the remarks about Sand, Pine Trees and Swamps!! Maybe she is just getting even. Thought I was coming home to warmer weather and a chance to ride. If I crawl out there!! OK I'll quit whining and go back to bed...

    I've heard its a lot different Bob. Be carefull with it. I've never rode one but I think you will like it with a little practice.

    :sign yeah that: And carry a wad of paper towels and a 8mm wrench when you try it out. If it starts to seize just crack the bleeder and let off pressure. Catch it with paper towels.

    Helps to keep it dry. Where Yamaha puts it sooner or later it seems to get wet.
