At the store the other day a gentleman was buying a 24 pack of Pepsi which was on sale for 6.95. In line behind him a young lady had 2 12 packs at $4.95 each. Trying to be helpful, the gentleman told the young lady that buying the 24 pack was much cheaper. She thanked, and then stated that they didn't drink that much Pepsi in a week to make it worth her while to buy the 24 pack. Now, how does one respond to that???? And no, she wasn't blond.

The site and the supporting membership has progressed well beyond just those folks who own/rider Venture's or RSTD. We have many members who own other scoots... Kaws, Viragos GW, Suzzies and, perish the thoughts, even the dreaded Harley (). So there's no need to limit your scope when you go out recruiting.

Most parts around here grow legs. Hopefully it will be better once I get the new shop built. Will keep you in mind and thanks for the offer.

If you are getting excessive wear in the middle of the tire, you are over inflating the tire. This will also result in reduction of patch contact in turns.

Lets see if I can respond now. I am currently making the fork socks out of leather. But can still use the nalgahyde (If I can shoot enough of them b4 the snows set in) Am in the process of redesigning the socks to stop them from creeping up the plungers. If anyone is interested in a set, shoot me a PM. Should have them done in time for the start of the new riding season. And Condor, will get a set out to you as soon as I iron out the details on the new design.

Ouch! That really hurts Rocket. Just for that, I'll put them in myself rather than waiting for you to do them at the 2010 PIP. And, for your information, there is still lots of oil left in the left fork. It was only the right one that had the "minor" leak. So there....

For those who did not have the opportunity to attend the Cody RoundUp and are curious about the photo referenced above. Also, as much as I hate to do it, I must admit that Mike does do a purdy fair spur of the moment scratch chili. May be forced to challange him to a chili Cook Off at the 2010 Pork in the Pines.
