Those are good prices, Larry. I was looking at the Sigma .40 also. I think it was like $379. Also, the dealer and I looked up the date on the rebates, and they just ran out. He said they would probably renew them soon, though.

There is a new way I read about today. I think they're changing it again. This time, it's compressions first, then rescue breaths. I will do some more research on it before I say more. It was in the paper today.

There is a guy here with a FFL that does it, and I think he only charges you the $10 fee for the TBI check. A dealer up in Murray, Ky. told me about him when I was looking at buying one up there. I have his name and number if you're interested. They just deliver the gun to him, then you let him run the check, pay him the $10, and you're outta there. What guns were you looking at? I may be able to get you a deal here at the shop I was telling you about.

I agree with the boring part. It'll probably be pretty once the leaves are changing real good. It is a straight road, with a low speed limit. Hard to stay awake. Have fun! -

C'mon Carl! I'm not defending the overzealous guards, but the guy was a pain in the ass!. He reminded me of Bill O'reilly.....he wouldn't even let the guard finish his sentence, before he butted in with his crap. I can't stand people who are soooooo liberal, that they think they can get away with whatever they want. You gotta submit SOME, if you wanna get anywhere nowadays. I know we like to be free, but you still have to submit to authority...that's just the way it is nowadays. Only thing that will change it, is an all out civil war. Until then, we just have to suck it up. -

Good choice. Too bad it's not the 9mm, 'cause I still have two 17 round magazines, from when I had my Glock 17. I think I'm gonna trade them in toward a new holster.

Nope. Only put 17k on the scoot this year. He is on a back road, that I don't go down very often. I will be visiting him more now, though.

I just found a dealer that is a mile from my house, and I never knew he was there...lol. He has lotsa stuff. I am looking at AR-15 or Ruger Mini 14 next.

I almost bought the Kel-Tec, but after holding them both, the Taurus won. I like the slim size for concealing. When I was a Deputy, I carried a Glock 17, and it was kinda big and uncomfortable for concealing. Other than that, I loved it.

I just bought my first Taurus. It's a PT 709 slim, that I intend to carry with a CCW permit. I've never owned a Taurus before, but have heard good things about them. I liked the slim fit, and the weight for carrying. Anyone have any good or bad stories about Taurus?
