  7. Great pictures. Looks like it was a fun ride.
  8. I am also vertically challenged. On our previous bike a 99 ihad the Barons lowering kit put on, when we traded for our current bike an 08 I had this transfered to it. I have also lowered the front of the bike by lowering the triple tree. This leveled the bike out some. I run between 20 to 25 lbs of air in the rear shock and don' t have much of a problem scraping my pipes. When we are riding 2 up I add more air.
  9. I have sent you payment for 1, 2nd generation pin. Thank you Steve
  10. I would like 1 of the 2nd Gen. please. Let me know when to pay.
  11. Mapquest shows a Savoy Ill. is this where the ride is going to be ? What time and where at are you meeting ?
  12. This morning it sure feels like fall. I was wondering if there were any plans for a ride in Iowa ? Wife and I are thinking about a trip into southern Iowa to see the fall colors, and stop at a festival if we can find one.
  13. Over the years I've had mixed results using a decoy. When they work they are exciting, when they don't they are a lot to pack in and out. If you are using a buck decoy place it facing your location, if as a doe decoy face it away. As they say you can't hunt from the couch got to be in the timber. Good luck and good hunting.
  14. I had to work, have to keep those bad boys from hurting each other. Someone has to be there 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
  15. I wonder how many tries they had before they got the right position for the pool ?
  16. I wasn't near Stover but I did see a 99 Venture go through Rock Port, MO. while I was taking a break and getting fuel. He was with three other bikes. HD's
  17. I don't have either of those seats, so I can't help you there. I did have the Butler modification done to my stock seat and it helped alot. I also have the Baron's lowering kit on the back, I recently lowered the front of our bike about 1 inch and it has hepled the handling at slow speeds. Hope this helps.
  18. Glad to hear that you are back up and riding. Be safe
  19. Looks like you had a good time. Great pictures.
  20. One of the wives step off of the bikes and straddled it, everything was good until she looked down. Created a new dance step . I just moved it off into the bushes so it wouldn't get run over or stepped on.
  21. Well I hope to make it out west someday. It is on my bucket list to visit every state.
  22. Here are a few more pictures from our trip. At one of the motels that we stopped to check for a room the sign said Vacancy. We didn't want to argue with one of the guests.
  23. While we were in Santa Fe we met a couple from Iowa that were on Silver Royal Star Venture. They were headed north to Dever Colorado while we were headed to Albuquerque. We saw 2 other Ventures on the trip.
  24. We recently went to Pagosa Springs, CO. A great place to eat was the Branding Iron Bar-B-Que. Great food & great service. It's located along US 160 at the edge of town. Worth going to eat! Parking is limited but other than that we highly recommend it. Steve
  25. Was able to down load a couple, will have to work on it some more later.
