Here are some pictures of our new ride.
-
The hunting trip got cancelled after we got 12 inches of snow and bad roads. Finally got enough snow out of the way that the dealer could deliver the new bike, and have been safety equipment (chrome) on the new ride. I found some more items that I took off the RSV that will not work on the new ride. I have a backrest that is excellent shape, with all the mounting brackets and bolts. A Stebel air horn with the mount to go on the RSV, and a CD player. The CD player has never been out of the box. Hope to get the new bike out this weekend and get some pictures posted.

I have sent you an email. Steve

I knew I should have taken that typing class in school.

Sorry my typing sometime leaves a little to be desired

Since I recently traded my RSV I have a set of new (4 NGK DPR8EA-9 spark plugs) that are looking for a good home. I was going to put them in this winter and tune the bike before spring. If someone wants to cover the flat rate shipping they can have them. Steve

I'll get some pic up as soon, we got hit with snow. I found the roadglide forum and joined it also, though just prosed looking for information. sbrewer there. looking forward making the new one mine .

We went with the midnight pearl. Dealer called and said they were ready to deliver, but with all the snow that we got I think it may be a day or to before it gets here. In the mean time I catch myself stopping and remembering where we have been on the venture.

asking for 100.00 and you pay the shipping, does that seem okay.

I was wondering what I was going to do with all my cassettes:whistling:
-
I was hoping that I could hang around.

Most of what I took off the bike should go on the new one, I do have a Venture MP3 player that needs a new home. I also have the CD player that fits in the trunk, it has never been on the bike and is still in the box.

Well last Saturday went to town to purchase gear for an upcoming hunting trip. On the way back home I talked the wife into stopping at the hd dealer and we looked at what they had on the showroom floor. We ended up trading for a 2013 roadglide ultra. I am still not sure how this will turn out but time will tell. I have spent the last couple of evenings taking off items from our bike.

The best I have done was in the mid 40's. I felt pretty good about that.
-
Congratulations. It is suprising what they will but up with, at least in my case we celibrated our 38th in March. Hope you have many more

I have purchased one of these, watched the video, and successfully installed it. The MP3 works great. Really like being able to switch through songs using the controls that are there. The only probelm I am having is with the dang memory card and the computer. I have been able to download music to the 1st folder but when I try and place songs in one of the other folders they go to cyber space. Does the 1st folder have to be full before you place songs in the 2nd folder and so on ?

Checked and you were right it was the back up fuse. Replaced it and everything is working great again. Thanks

Checked the backup fuse this morning and found that it was burnt out. Replaced it and everything works great again. Before checking here, I had spoken with the dealer and he had told me a long sad story about how long it would be to find the problem and he would have to work it into his schedule. So all I can say is thank you for having a place that information can be shared, so I don't have to learn it all first hand.

Okay got the battery checked, and it is okay. Tomorrow I'll start checking main fuses that then pull the front fairing and start checking connectors there.
-
I have a 2008, would this connector also effect my trip meter and clock ?
-
Got back from a week's vacation with everything working fine on the bike. Got ready to go on a 3-day run and the audio control box would not work. So, no radio, no audio, or CB. Also, the trip meter and the clock resets itself every time you start the bike. I have checked fuses and found no problems there. Any ideas as to what is going on? Looking for answers.

Like everyone else I am glad you are going to okay. I am sure that you are sore. A few years back we found out that you can't play bumper cars with them SUV's . I'd say that you need to get to looking for a new ride . Get to feeling better.
