Yeah we did about 70 in all today, but only about ten of it was to get to the water/amusement park. Been sitting on ready trying to figure out how to find a ride to put my bike in front of when my wife said why dont we go to the water world thingy. Bingo, although we had to explain to security to get in the parking lot. they walked down there with us after I expained it was a scavenger hunt and all I need was a ic. David

the pic quality is not all that good but here is me my bike and a 100 foot cable swing ride. You get harnessed in and they take you up . You let the cable release off at your desired hieght and fly like superman. I f the group acepts this then I think the new target should be rather easy. Lets say you your bike and a large body of water. Ie lake, river ocean you get the idea. David

I guess my first intro to a venture is the 91 I am presently coigsisting with. This old girl was not what I was looking for. I was actually looking for the bike my wife bought nut she ended up with it. On the same day she bought hers I went bake to the dealor that afternoon because I had looked at a v-star earlier that morning and decided to by it. Just as I had signed the papers on the v-star but not handed over the money my salesman came in the door and asked if I had handed over money yet. Of course the answer was no. So he took me in the back where there stood what I call Brandy on her center stand. She had just been traded in on a new rsv. I still to this day and probably always will say she found me . Brandy was not happy with her previous owner and acted up so he would bring her to me. You know its wright when even though shes not running correctly all you can think about is going out and spending time on the road. I dont own her, I gave her a home, and she helps me preserve my sanity. It's mutual. So I guess you could say it was destiny. David. Ps. I now they are in heaven but we don't mind if they ride along .

Question about an 85 vr
painterman67 replied to a topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Ok, I wasn't sure of the years except 90-91. That being said, I have what was writin as a tci box off of a 88. If this will work let me know and I'll ship it to you. I paid $ 53 for it on ebay. Will ship it to you for that price. If it works and you want it you can pay me after you find out. If not ship it back to me . Only reson I say this is tha originaly i was told 85 -93 all the same and I bought this one on ebay . The seller sadi it came of a functioning bike. I would hate to sell you something that doesn't work as I cant test it on my bike.Pm me if you are interested or you can call me. My number is in the vr assistance and I think aqlso on my profile. Hope this will help you or any others reading this as it is dooing me no good. Not trying to make anything but my money back. Good luck. David -

1st Gen Floorboards For Sale
painterman67 replied to GaryZ's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
If you can find the correct year. Originally Yamaha told me they were the same from 86-93. So lucky me gets a functioning cdi box from an 88 for $53. Get it home and all bike will do is turn over no fire. turns out that 86- 90 is one part # and 91-93 is another so now I have what I was told is a functioning box with no bike to put it in. Maybe I'll run into someone who needs a spair or something like that. david- 20 replies
