  6. I just purchased a 1999RSV with 18000 Mi. I have taken the eyebrows and the adhesive off but there is a shiney spot the size and shape of the Eyebrows it looks and feels like scotch tape it is clear and shiney. You can feel it with your finger. It will not come off. I was wondering if I should use rubbing compound on it or will that take off the clear coat or is there something else that I can use less drastic? Have any of you had this happen to you when removing your`s? Thanks for any help, TOP CAT:fingers-crossed-emo

I do not want to buy the replacement rubbers as they are $$$ and I like the look of the standard rubber boards. My question is how do you take the chrome covers off?? TOP CAT

  12. :big-grin-emoticon:Well I finely traded the old 83 Venture off for a 1996 Royal Star Tour Classic Saturday. I hope I can get use to the wind that the faring would block. The windshield doesn't do to bad but there is a lot of wind around your legs. Also I miss the radio. Will try to get some pic. soon. Top Cat

  14. I just found out from an other sight that the curb weight is 761 Lbs. Seat height is 28.4 in. And the wheel bace is 65.6 in. So it is short, low and heavy. TERRY
  15. If you have floor boards there is a extension that goes on the foot peg that extendes out from under the boards so that you can catch your foot on it to lower the stand. Mine is a hollow tube with a setscrew coming out of the side where it slides over the old foot peg it slides over the peg and extendes it so you can get to it with your foot and it is chrome . I have had to tighten the setscrew a few times so that it would not fall of ,but it workes verry well. I hope that this is off some help. TOP CAT:bang head:
