Yesterday I rode out to Lafayette Powersports located at 612 Beau Pre Road in Lafayette to do a price check regarding maintenance for my scoot..... Carb Synch.....$380.00....and the Service Manager sez it will take 4 hours of Labor !!! Rear tire change-out.....$180.00.....Labor Charge Only!!! Boomer.....who left there so fast he forgot to pee on the floor.....and will be going to any Maintenance Days he can beg an invite to!!

Thanks to all for the replies. Yes,I can come and go as I please and I will certainly make the ride to meet as many as you fine folks as I possibly can. And.....I'll take the heat/humidity any day over the snow/ice of the frozen North!! I am very close to Lafayette and many of my relatives are within this area as well. I will be doing PGR Missions with both the Louisiana and Texas Patriot Guard . Boomer.....who will be riding hard , making new friends , and raising hell for sure.

All I'm going to say is that we parted as friends who came to realize that love had died and we both wanted to get on with our lives. I am now completely retired with my own pension and finances. Boomer.....who is now in de middle of "Who Dat" country and durn glad of it too.

LOL! Not a lot of trouble....Just left a bad marriage with nothing more than my truck,scoot,and clothes! I have re-located to southwest Loozeeanner and I am home to stay. No more snow and ice for this Boomer!! Boomer....who now rides de roads wit possums and coonasses.....

I fire up my scoot 2x's a week and let her run for at least 40 minutes at idle. I keep the gas tank FULL of premium gas heavily treated with Seafoam as well. Before I shut her down I operate all the clutch/brake levers/pedals too. I also keep a Battery Maintainer on 24/7 except when I am ready to fire her up. Tire pressures are checked every 2 weeks as well. Boomer.....who's scoot is always ready to roll.

Ice and snow in de driveway should melt off during the day tomorrow. Friday and Saturday will be sunny and .....ahem.....cool. I'm ready and so is de scoot.....Yeeehaaaaaa. Boomer....who has a clean snowmobile suit and is gonna give it hell fer sure.:D
