    No I was never a Bos'n.....Learned a lot from 2 BMC's in the first 4 years of my Naval career tho. I was Surface Navy back then. Once I joined the Submarine Service I never met another Bos'n.....saw quite a few of them through our periscopes tho! LOL! Boomer.....who can attribute his sometimes colorful vernacular to the Khaki Mafia aka the Chief's Quarters.

    Well so far I am de winner.....Temp here at 9:50 AM is parked at +20F. Boomer.....who knows de family jewels don't give a hoot about de Temp cuz COLD is COLD to dem bad boys.

    Yer damn right!! We are not called the Khaki Mafia fer nothing!! Boomer.....who went through a REAL CPO Initiation....and spent 4 days in the rack recuperating from that 1 day of Special Honor.....and has NO REGRETS whatsoever!

    I blocked my AIS system and we re-synched the carbs when I put the Baron's 4-2-4's on my scoot. We did nothing else to the carbs. There are different opinions about blocking the AIS to begin with but it sure worked for me to eliminate the popping and slight back-firing I wuz hearing. As it is now when I start hearing any slight popping I get the carbs re-synched and all is good to go. Boomer....still waking up the yuppies and scaring the squirrels outta the tree's with those Nasty Boys.

    I was there from 68-71....PBR the whole time. DaNang (Northern part of South Vietnam) the whole time. As I recall the only other large PBR Unit was TF 116 which was based in the lower end of Southern Vietnam. I hope your Brother made it home in one piece....and if he is still alive tell him WELCOME HOME and CURAHEE for me. Regards and respect.....Boomer

    Don't have a pic of the boat I served on. I was Brown Water Navy in Nam. PBR....River Patrol Boat. After my 3rd Tour I rotated back to the world (Stateside). Within 72 hours of being in Kalifruity I got word that my river boat had taken a direct mortar hit while on routine patrol. The boat was blown to pieces and everyone on the boat was killed. All other Naval units I served on after that meant nothing to me. Just doing my time headed for a Pension and Retirement. Boomer.....with nothing funny to say about this at all.

    End result of this turned out good.....and a hats off to the LEO's who made it turn out that way too!! Boomer......who knows that a piece of paper does not mean something is right and legal.....its just glorified toilet paper.

    The saddest part about things like this is that very few Americans will really get on the bandwagon and raise holy hell about it. Americans are forgetting or ignoring how the freedoms they enjoy came to be and the price paid for those freedoms. When the house of cards collapses its gonna be every man for himself....and the sight will not be pretty. Boomer.....who's got nothing funny to say about the crap he see's going on in the Country .....but has clean guns, plenty of ammo.... and is ready.
