Hey Joe, Good to see you got something going. It'll be better than sitting home. Good luck and be safe out there. My son just got laid off from Roadway. He's looking hard but not much around here either. His wedding is this weekend, not a good way to start off.

This happened to me while we were at the rally in Colorado. Filed complaint with Paypal and my credit card company that was used. It didn't take them long to make it all disappear.

Got my 06 last August with 4600 miles on her and a bunch of goodies to go with. A great deal for me as a couple of other members waited too long on the fence.....right Joe? :rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf:

I lived there for a year or so back in the 90s. Seems that there is a tour route of the horse farms you can follow. The horse park is good. Old Kentucky Chocolates might be a good stop, they have real good chocolate covered bourbon cherries, and a lot of other stuff too. I do believe we have a member who lives in Lexington or right close by. Sue and I would also be interested in doing this, we were talking about it last year.

Oh yeah, 65 degrees out today and the bike couldn't wait to get out of the garage. Came home from work and got ready and went for a nice ride. Something unusual happened while I was riding. I was enjoying the ride when the bike started talking to me! She, now I know that, said that she didn't like the name I had given her. She said Defender sounded too masculine, that she was a lady of sorts. She told me that she had overheard a conversation with Bummer about how Squidley's Charcoal/Silver was like wearing a suit but that our Black Cherries were like lingerie. So with that in mind and the fact that my Black Cherry has a Midnight seat on it we've decided to rechristen her "Midnite Cherri" (she insisted on the "i"). So now I know my bike is a lady and will treat her as such but I'm telling you she can run like a B***ch. What a strange way to start out the year...........but then, those who know me won't be surprised..... :rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf:

We did the Memphis ride to St. Judes the week we got ours back. 1310 miles in a 3 day weekend! No problem riding all day. We were very impressed.

Exactly! Got mine started today, should have the chance to take her out tomorrow barring any rain. We had Rick modify our seats too as our Black Cherry has Midnight seats on it. He does great work doesn't he?

I bought one of those, then someone had the pin come out on them. The guy selling them refunded our money and did not want the hitch back. I thought it was a neat idea and a lot cheaper nthan a regular swivel. Trying to see how I can fix it so I wouldn't have to worry about the pin coming out.
