SPRING!!! I have three weeks vacation. One week is already committed to an airplane trip to a conference in Florida. A couple days to move daughter back to school. We are hoping to get at least four or five long weekends on the scoot. We're thinking of... Rte 6 in northern PA Finger Lakes Blue Ridge Parkway Smoke Hole, WV Niagara Falls/Toronto Where will you be heading when it warms/drys up?

Those sound like they would be local ordinances not state laws. But if they are real, I doubt they are enforced. But who knows what PA can conjure up. We came up with some pretty convoluted liquor laws, scrapple and purple eggs.

I could probably ride that for, oh say about 2 minutes. Looks cool. Looks uncomfortable as hades.

Congratulations Grandpa!

I appreciate all the advice. You know how it goes - If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. And if mama is comfortable then mama is happy and that means more riding time! I think I'll pull the seats off this weekend and send them off to Rick. I'm not sure how I will wrap that for a Christmas present though. Maybe I'll do sheepskin seat covers too.

Do you have a i-pad

I bought my bride the new Kindle for her birthday and she loves it! If she's looking for primarily an e-reader save $$$ and go Kindle. -
I wonder how my wife would react Christmas morning if I bought her a bathmat:confused24: I guess it couldn't be any worse than the year I bought her a bar of soap!

except it is photshopped! http://www.hoax-slayer.com/kayak-mouth-whale.shtml It's good though!

I wonder if she'll go for the fur bikini on that page instead?? Did you get the sheepskin/gel pad or just the straight sheepskin? What size fits on the passenger seat? This looks like a good option!

We use a check for church and local taxes. That's about it. We do virtually everything via electronic banking and have never had a problem. I told my kids that at some point in their lifetime cash will become obsolete.

She's had the Wally World pseudo-gel pad for about a year and a half. If you're referring to the same one, it's not really gel but kind of a honeycomb rubber. She was complaining about it towards the end of the season this year so I'm thinking of upgrading her to a real gel.

I'm thinking about this: http://www.saddlemen.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=169_236&products_id=4505 for my navigator. Any thoughts on this or other gel pads around $100?

We've had XM almost since day one and we love it. We had a Roady 2 receiver which was real good. We have XM in two cars plus the bike. The Roady died and now we use the XM app on the iPhone. Ram Mount has the mount for it (or any other receiver).

One reason we cling to cable is for the high speed internet and local news. If we went to satellite, what would we use for an ISP?

It's just a courtesy. Would you give up your seat on the train/bus/subway to a pregnant woman? Sorry. I'll be quiet.

For about the 10th election in a row, I was numero uno in Windsor, PA.

Those are popping up at grocery stores here in PA. They are not legally reserved, just a courtesy. So the worst that will happen is you'll get a dirty look from someone.

A few years ago my sister-in-law severely broke her ankle. She had several surgeries. She couldn't walk too far without severe pain. She had a temporary handicap card that she would hang on her rear view mirror. Ignorant people said incredibly rude things to her when she would park in a handicapped spot. In the words of Randy Newman, "Don't talk about things you don't know about!"

I saw that video last night. She probably didn't have five bars in 1928 but it's fun to try to figure out what she's doing. Someone suggested a type of hearing aid. I like to think she's saying, "Can you hear me now?"

My last name is Witt. My father used to introduce us three kids as Half, Nit and Dim. Halfwitt is my user name for many sites now. I'm kinda burned out on it though. If it was easier to change I probably would.
