I posted this in another thread, but just in case someone missed it. At the Biltmore on friday they are having a concert. The musician is BB King. There's a combo ticket. Here's the way they price out. General Seat ($32) + Biltmore* ($42) = $74 Now $52 Reserved Seat ($37) + Biltmore* ($42) = $79 Now $57 Premium Seat ($47) + Biltmore* ($42) = $89 Now $67 Evidently they have a special now since they seem to have discounted their tickets. Or it has to do with the fact that folks just aren't going like before gas prices went up.Now if you'd like to go to the concert let me know so I can make sure you all get there. I only had one person ask about it so far. Figured maybe not everyone saw the original post in the biltmore thread. Margaret

For the Asheville ride on Thursday, Randy said he'll lead us up to Chimney rock. If you'd like to go up let us know. If you don't wish to go up we'll need to know that too. (Oh by up I mean up on top of chimney rock.) I don't want folks to be sitting around with no idea what to do next. Here's the link to the park so you can get an idea of what's there. http://www.chimneyrockpark.com/ I haven't gotten a number on how many will be there that week. Some won't be there till thursday or friday. I know that sleeperhawk and the mechanic might not be there till sat. Mother is coming down from Canada with his wifey and he said something about 4 so not sure who else is coming with him. Can't wait to see you all there. This will be more laid back then some of the other events. I'm thinking that we can meet over at the super8 in black mountain to get everyone together on thursday. Probably around 8 maybe a bit later like 9 I'm not sure what time folks are coming in the night before. Then we can eat on the road for lunch. I'm still planning on going to saluda as well. Just have to see what sort of interest we have for any of these rides. I do know that cinderella isn't coming. I wish they could it would have been great seeing them again, but I understand how stuff gets in the way. Margaret

Hope they use XM's stuff not sirius'. Seems the XM antenna's work better and the radios hold up better. I hope we do get a choice of packages. Margaret

You're absolutely right Cindy, it's very likely he did it. Or at least that it happened when he was on. Let us know if you decide to beat him or not. If you knock him around any take pics might be a good lesson for some of the other guys. :rotf::rotf: Margaret

Lots more folks on bikes and most are inexperienced. The Navy base in VA is starting sport bike safety classes. Lots of the navy boys come home and get one and end up hurt or dead. I've noticed lots more motorcycle accidents reported on the news too. Margaret

Well glad to hear your ok. We all learn lessons as we go, glad you didn't have to big a one to learn. Just wear them long pants from now on. Bikes can be replaced you can't. Margaret
