I told him he gets to add the Apache to his resume now. He seemed a bit tired when I talked to him. I think his stop over before he got to Kandahar was in Kabul. Margaret

He hasn't said anything about running into some bad running camels. I'll let him know you all are putting on miles for him. He's sharing accommodations with a bunch of other guys in a tent at the moment. Till they set them up with where they'll be staying for the rest of the time there. Margaret

oops I boo booed it's 355 I looked at the wrong number on the calendar. Can happen to anyone. Oh and he's there now. I started another thread for that. Margaret

Well as far as I know it's now 355 to go. He started counting down when he got to Kuwait. As long as all goes well he should be coming home at the end of that time. We are dealing with the military and if it takes as long to leave as it did to get there only God knows when he'll be back. I'll find out more as time goes on. Margaret

Just got a call from Jeff he's in Kandahar. He's not gonna work on the 60's though he said he'll be working on Apache's. He's staying in temp housing which is a big tent with a bunch of other guys till he gets his permanent set up. Also his tools haven't gotten there yet. Not sure where they are. But he's gotten to where he's suppose to be. So now he can get into a routine. Hopefully that will make time go faster for him. It's gotta be better then sitting around waiting. Especially for him he gets bored so easily. Margaret

Well not that I'm counting or anything :whistling:but it's 354 to go till he's home. Oh they fixed my phone. Guess I'll know for sure when I use it later. Margaret

We own GMax helmets as well. Do pretty well on air flow. Not to mention they aren't nearly as expensive as some of the others out there. Margaret -

Our dealers are closed mondays as well. There is a place in Morganton NC that's open on monday's closed wed. We ended up there when we had a tire pick up a nail. Glad you made it home safe and sound. Margaret

He just called me and he's about 4 hrs out from where he's going. He called my mom first because he couldn't get me. Anyway he's still doing ok. At least we know he's almost there. Now if my internet would stay on instead of shutting down and coming back. That's almost as irritating as the phone being out. Margaret

Well I talked to my mom and he called her this morning to let her know he was on his way. Good thing too, my phone is out. Yet I have internet not sure what's up with that. They are coming tomorrow between 1 - 3 to fix it. I hope. I need my phone in case he can call. Margaret

Well I got an email from Jeff this morning and he said they were hoping to get out today. He said they changed their flight schedule. Evidently they had them scheduled as a straight through flight, they changed it to hops. So I'm thinking since I haven't heard from him he's on his way. He was typically calling around noon and no phone call today. I'll let you all know when I hear from him. I'm not sure how long that will be. I'm hoping not too long or I'll be a bit nutty ok nuttier. Margaret
