Just installed the Chatterbox Xbi-2 headsets on both of our helmets. Anxious to try them out as soon as Ronda gets off of work. No more cords. I've tried it out with my cell phone and works great, now as soon as the bluetooth adapter is charged, I'll try it with an I-pod.

Today my wife sent me this picture that she took at a stop light.. Hard to see but this person is on a scooter at a red light. He was barley able to balance it to start with, but whats hard to see is he is talking on a cell phone... Yep on a cell phone can you say stupid!!! At least in my thoughts.. she tells me that when the light turned green he didnt hang up just turned and then kept talking.. even though it is a scooter i just had to put this on here to see what kinda comments it gets

Have you ever camped on the BRP? I'm talking about the primitive No Water or Electricity Camps etc. Sounds like a different experience for the kids. Are the higher elevation temperatures cool at nights even in August? What about cell phone coverage along the Parkway?Mamamo is making a menu and packing the Coleman tent and stove. She might even take a dutch oven.:cool10:

As most of you know calling 911 from your cell phone gets routed to the CHP in Vallejo. You may be able to save valuable time by calling the local emergency number in your area. the most current list is (hopefully) attached, and/or you could go to www.getice.com for that information. Looks like a "rainy day" project to store some of those numbers on the cell phone - heehee.

Anybody had any luck making an adapter 2 use a cell phone style headset with the existing 5 pin intercom? What i would really like to do is add a headphone bluetooth adapter to the driver and passenger connection and be able to use or cell headsets.

Well I finally got enough junk cleared out of the way that I could actually get to the bike and get her outside for a spring oil change and wash today. Then I hooked up the BuddyRich cable with the Zumo550 and synched it with my cell phone. It worked like a charm. I can now use the cell phone and hear it through the helmet speakers and use the mic to talk on the phone. It's not that I anticipate using the cell phone much while on the bike but it's handy when you do need it, and with both my parents and the in-laws getting older and ill, it's nice that if something happens, they can reach me if I'm out for a day trip on the bike:dancefool::thumbsup2:. My hats off to BuddyRich for a great job!

Hello everyone, I just bought my NEW leftover 2007 RSTD the day after Christmas, less than 5 months ago. MSRP was around $14,295. Due to cold and rainy weather here in Iowa, it only has 306 actual miles. Only reason I am selling is due to unexpected major expenses on my septic and leach field (sewer problems) on my acreage. I am selling for $10,495 usd. It has over 4 and a 1/2 years left on the unlimited mileage warranty. If interested, please call my cell as I don't get on the computer much. CELL: 515-297-4066 Thanks for reading... tell a friend if you can. Blake - royal rider

Karen's daughter's car was stolen early this am. It was reported to the police within 1/2 hour. In it was purse with house keys and everything else, including cell phone. Question #1 - since phone was on, can it be tracked from tower to tower?? Question #2 - we are making a list of things in there that need to be followed up on. What are we missing?? The list so far... phone credit/gas/debit cards social security card day care swipe card for child drop off and pick up health insurance cards change locks on apartment Driver License Inform anyone one of her Contacts on cell phone to protect against scam calls. Thanks in advance for any and all help in this matter, Scooter Bob and Karen

what if any do you carry in a road side kit i.e tire patch, flairs, hand pump, fuel line, spark pluk stuff like that just courious on what i might need out on the road one day. the reason i am asking is the other day on a ride we had no cell phone coverage where we were at and i only seen three cars the whole stretch of road i was on passed and passed a couple of houses so that got me thinking about this problem.

Whats the deal here. Some cell providers charge for incoming calls. This was on a local tv newscast today.Nothing worse then telemarketers. http://www.wchstv.com/i/1x1spacer.gif EYEWITNESS LOCAL NEWS from Eyewitness News Online PESKY PROBLEM Cellphone Numbers Being Released http://www.wchstv.com/i/1x1spacer.gif Reported by: http://www.wchstv.com/bluemail.gif Rachel Tarr Videographer: Eyewitness News Web Producer: Jessica Reed October 1, 2008 1:36pm http://www.wchstv.com/i/1x1spacer.gif http://www.wchstv.com/newsroom/eyewitness/0810/i/081001_3000_320.jpg Eyewitness News Photo http://www.wchstv.com/i/1x1spacer.gif Today, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies. If you don't want to get those calls, you can call 1-888-382-1222 from your cell phone to block the calls. You can also log on to donotcall.gov, and add up to three phone numbers you want blocked. Under a new law, these new registries will never expire.

We head out this morning for several days of camping..... original plan was to go to asheville.....but withgas prices etc we decided after the MD trip and the $$$ we spent we'd stay closer to home this week. We are heading up to Omaha area to camp and hit the zoo and childrens museum, water park and several other things. Wish us luck as we taking a friend of haylies along...2 six yr olds will pretty much wear us out fast !! And as hot as its been here....there is a excess heat warning out for the next several days///dont it figure............looks like we will just melt away . the heat and humidity combined are horrific right now......105 heat index theyre calling for from today thru monday.... hopefully the ac in the camper comes thru for us...... its an older camper we picked up and we put a new window ac in it last week. dont know f anyone lives near that area from here......but we will be at the two rivers sra west of omaha til the 7th. Dales cell # is in his profile

I know I was looking for cell phones but this is ridulous...
1BigDog posted a topic in Watering Hole
So, I check my bank statement online and see im 600.00 negative in my checking acct. Someone has so graciously ordered new cell phones using my bank card. They arrived today!! 2 new Blackberry Curves. Nice, only thing the fool used his name on the order. Police came and took the package as "fruits of a crime". Had the card cancelled yesterday and am now waiting for the charges to go from pending to posted so the bank can launch an investigation and refund my money. I called the company he ordered it from and spoke to some moron in India, who tried to sell me some more phones after I told him this was a fraudulent order. Im hoping the detectives find this guy before I do.... -
Well in less than an hour the better half and I are going to throw a leg over our trusted steeds and mosey on down to Myrtle Beach. I will be pulling the Chuck Wagon and she will be riding drag (no comments Beer30) We are planning on taking a leasure ride down although it will be a challenge for Brandy since the winds here in NC are predicted to be 20 to 25 with gusts up to 40mph. I will have my cell with me for those who are going to be in Myrtle Beach and want to try and get together. My number is in the Members list, just leave a message and I will get back to you. Good Lord willing we will be down there until Sunday and then head back.
