    thanks larry. can't say we ain't trying. i really think it;s going to be a good one. i know alot of folks that are coming that haven't regitered yet and we will have quite a few that won't register. that can't stay for the whole rally. sure is coming up fast. glad we started on it last november.

    i have been trying to come up with something to get our customary donations for our st. jude ride that dragonrider does every year in sept.. oldventure8 has donated 2 stainless steel belt buckles that a friend of his made especially for the 09 rally. these are one of a kind buckles and are valued over $100.00 each. you will not be able to see the buckles unless you attend the rally and will have to be present to buy the raffle tickets and win the buckles. we will have one winner for each buckle. here is the web site of the artist that makes these buckles. www.exoticstainlesssteel.com . this artist has custom made buckles for many celebs that are listed on the web site. one of the buckles we have will have the 09 rally logo like the t-shirts have, and the other will have the venture rider logo. if you win you will have the only one in existence. i want to thank the artist and oldventure8 for this very thoughtful donation. check out the website, he also has many buckles to choose from if you want to buy one.

    i would have to hand it to your cousin for doing the job he was getting paid to do. i just may have done the same thing. i don't know. if my mother took advantage of the system i would throw the book at her. just would depend upon the circumstances. if i was a cop i probably would'nd last a month. first i could never carry a gun, i would be in prison in no time. if i break the law and get caught i have no argument. and i would not be lenient to people who break the law. i am a very hard person and have no compassion for law breakers. snarley bill

    it's a fact police officers do favors for each other. i have several close freinds that are cops and my nephew is a cop. i highly doubt if my nehew would give me a ticket if i was caught speeding. i would expect him to but can't see it happening. thats just the way things are and always have been. cops take care of each other. if i was a cop i would be the same way. cops are just human like all the rest of us. sure would be a rough world without them. bill

    i guess i must clarify myself. i spoke on heresay. i am no authority. only relay what my sister and brotherinlaw tell me. they live in the fast lane. 94 is an awesome ride. i do it all the time. if anyone ever gets to st. charles give me a holler. bill

    linda and i are so glad that you made it through this terrible ordeal. cindy, i really owe you many more thanks then i can put into words for hanging with me on the 09 rally committee. thought i was going to lose you several times , but you hung in there and never let me down. if you would not have been there this whole rally would have been doomed from the git go. for all you folks that don't know, cindy took the job of registration, t-shirts, and a whole bunch of other jobs to numerous to mention and ran with them. so when your all down there at the rally having a great time, a whole lot of thanks needs to go to cindy. you did good girl. and we love ya for it. bill and linda. :clap2::clap2:

    okay group, cindy is getting serious now. she's starting to dance the bump. the 13th is monday, after that no tee shirts for you to wear at the meet. we will have a few there but it will be slim pickins on the sizes. you will also be wanting your patches and name buttons so everyone knows who you are. even if you don't want to register and have the meal, order them t-shirts. the whole package it not mandatory. if you have not visited the registration page yet check it out. cindy has made it very user friendly. and you can see what the t-shirts, patches and name buttons look like in all the colors. oh by the way, " BUMP" .

    i would forget lake of the ozarks and go south to branson and eureka springs. come to the 09 rally in ar. we will show you some twisties. i went to lake of the ozarks 43 years ago for my honeymoon never been back since. last time i was there it was all red rock and scrub oaks. my sister lives there. love my sister but did'nt lose nothing down there. it's for the wild party crowd. they even have a party cove where every one gets nude. just my 2 cents.

    now you can't beat a deal like that. i also offered diamond r a vendor space, and told them to bring all the goodies they want. i would say if you want something special preordering it would be the way to go. you will save a bunch on shipping and handling. bill :clap2:
