  2. a man willing to die for what he enjoys... there are many folks that think riding a motorcycle in any protective gear is still a risk. sorry for his loss and his family and friends that agree with what he enjoyed.
  3. well worth the price from diamond r, they are great folks to deal with had mine for 7 years+ mike
  4. the reason it was located there was because the bikes original design was without cruise and without the fairing with accessories port. "royal star classic" so when they added the additional features to create the "royal star venture" they added the fuses to another location, so the original bike wire harness could be used and added upon, rather than a re- design. so all the added junk is in the lowers and the uppers. mike

  9. the sampson pipes are an aquired tast?? they are plenty loud, however the price of $500.00 is no bargain. you said it's a 2011 in red?? leftover 2009 is the only red, but it's still new... just not a 2011 the 2011 only comes in 2 tone blue. and for all those that look on the star website, just click on the red one and it will say it's a 2009. congrads. on the new purchase, it will serve you well. mike:cool10:
  10. i did 3 inches if fall in an 11 foot pad, and it works perfectly fine. mike
  11. would be nice if that recall would trickle down to the ignition switch failure on the rsv:confused24:just sayin??

  13. the mrs. and the daughter say that the next target needs to be a rootbeer stand, the kind with the car hops where you can get your meal delivered to your car/bike the target is= "You, your bike and a rootbeer stand" extra attaboyz if you get the car hop in the picture too!!
  14. just puchased a 2006 midnight royal star tour deluxe for the mrs. today! do ya think i should make her a deal on the diamond cut fins?? anyone out there interested in a 1994 virago 1100 that needs nothing other than a new home? this one can be seen and ridden:whistling:

  18. if you can't spend the 12 bucks here...... then ya can't afford a tank of gas to go for a ride anyway:confused24:. so... stay on the porch and count the stars that pass ya by...........
  19. you will never damage that engine from too much oil in the mix, just foul a few plugs... your mix is too heavy with oil---thats still safest mix.. however if you thin out the oil too much, it will burn up the piston/rings mike
  20. does the ol'e venture still run?? just the truck these days huh??
  21. real easy... pretend the seafoam is gas. put the seafoam in the fuel can, then fill the fuel to the whatever gallon mark, then treat that amount of fuel with the propper amount of oil.
  22. if you add it to the fuel, it doesnt matter about the ratio.... it's the products that you mix yourself, that are at risk... why?? because if you add the seafoam after you have the propper mixture, the seafoam will be just like adding more gas to the mix... thus dillutting the mixture
  23. when using it in a 2 stroke /aka 2 cycle engine, you want to be sure to put it in place of gasoline before you add your mix oil, or you will be screwing up your math on your mixture...ya know what i'm sayin?? don't want to thin out the mixture!! yes i have used it for years in 2 cycle engines.
