1. http://motorcycles.about.com/b/2012/04/01/mega-merger-announced-by-japanese-motorcycle-manufacturers.htm?nl=1 ROFLMAO
2. Precisely why I switched to a Wing... Wing riders are just smarter than all of ya!!
3. Well, since it happens on practically every other thread, let me start it .... "This eagle is smarter than any First Gen rider" ....
4. Actually, I think Translink should adopt this idea LOL!

8. now Paul ....FYI ... at my age, shaking my head is about all I have energy for....
9. Just shy of 3 months for Kruisin The Kootenays rally ya'll .... time to get your reservation sent in. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=65031 http://www.facebook.com/kruisnthekootenays http://kruisnthekootenays.ca/ http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/pp16/SilvrT/KruisnKootenays.jpg
10. OK, so I'm missing a few bearings which makes me wild and crazy ... but it sure is FUN to be me!!
11. heh ... are you inferring I'm missing a few? (nevermind... don't answer that)
12. All interesting replys; however, the sound is actually coming from a small coffee grinder that I was activating simultaneously with the squeezing of the clutch lever. ... and what day did I post this? APRIL FOOLS!!!
13. When I had my '85 I always had trouble getting it into neutral while it was running. What I would do is turn it off when in 1st, apply a little upward pressure on the shifter and then rock the bike forward/backward... voila` ... it would pop into neutral!
14. I got this weird rattling sound when I pull in the clutch lever on my Wing.... Listen carefully. Ya, I know, it's a "whiner" but mostly only noticable when idling and apparently fairly normal for a Wing. But that rattling sound doesn't seem "normal" to me. Can anyone guess what it is?
15. Just be thankful you don't live here ... you wouldn't have a planned ride ... unless you really like riding in cold and rain .. At least I started my scoot today, just to pretend I was on a ride LOL
16. We picked up a 2007 Leesur-Lite from a guy in Spokane last summer for 3 bills. Has all the options except A/C. Screened awning; add-a-room; extra storage; wide tires, etc. We like it a lot. Very easy to set up. The RSV tows it ok but for me, I found it took a lot of "work" haulin it thru the mountains fully loaded. 17. Hows this...?
18. could be your RSV is talking to you ... saying "trade me in for a Wing..."
19. I find that the more R&C I drink, the better I seem to play (aka open up) LOL
20. Could it be that that sidestand switch is poorly adjusted or the sidestand itself is somehow loose and activating the switch? Bad ground connection in the switch circuit somewhere?
21. I painted the Chrome gas cap with flat black, high heat paint. I simply cleaned it good with lacquer thinner, applied a coat of primer and then the flat black. It never chipped or peeled after 3 years. I'd toyed with the idea of painting part of the "cyclops ring" around the headlight. Here's a pic I "doctored" in Photopaint ... ... and here's one with everything blacked out
22. Sounds a little "one-sided" to me ...
23. 1960's ??? geeez, I remember having those in the early 50's
24. To be honest, I can't play worth a hoot but I tell ya, if I had the bucks I'd have me one of those just coz. Besides, a guy deserves to spend some bucks on something really nice for himself!
25. Wife and I tested one back in '09 when they came out. Seemed ok to drive. Seemed to vibrate a lot under load. Wife didn't like the lack of space between me 'n the trunk (her area). Saddlebag lids seemed kinda crappy. Plastic seemed a bit thinner than most other bikes. Power was not impressive. They do have a nice look to them tho ... but I sure wouldn't want one. I'd take a Victory CCT any day over the Kaw Voyager (or even an RSV)
