Your bike looks beautiful!! The guy did an excellent job! Not bad price either! Can't wait to see it in person!

We didn't have anyone from Georgia here! Colonel Poole's ribs sound so good right now! Trying to figure out how to take the time to get there! But.... we are riding to Franklin, Tennessee in the morning to meet up with George's parents who are on their way here from Russell, Kansas! They are in East Chattanooga tonite. We believe that Wanderer might up riding up there with us! It has been a beautiful day here as well, but the heat is on already!

ADC bought Wanderer's Kawasakiand since we had a garage, it was stored at our garage. ADC and family came to Columbia this weekend to pick up the bike. Wanderer had left his bike in our garage for the last week while in Alabama, so Sleeperhawk enjoyed having the garage full of bikes! :happy65: So we had an impromptu meet and eat here at our house! It was great seeing ADC and Wanderer was able to meet another great member of our Venture family!

Great pictures, Ted! Love those hats on you and Patricia! We warned you that Dick's was a high fluting place to dine! :rotf: We had a fun day with you guys! Glad we did not get washed out! Till next time, be safe!

Hey Jeff! On the way to Ellijay this weekend, we passed by a Jack in the Box and I had to take a picture of it for you! I thought you might want to frame it, take it with you and put it in a place where you will see it everyday! Then you will want to hurry back to the good ole USA for some good eating!

Awwww! Poor Wolf! Sleeperhawk and I will see you there! We will be riding in from Columbia, SC!

Thank you, Lewis! We did not get home until after 11:00 last night, so after sleeping in this morning (after all, it's Mother's Day), we got the pictures posted! By the way, my children woke me up this morning with phone calls of happy wishes!!!! (What a change, I used to have to wake them up!) It was great seeing everyone again and making new friends! What a beautiful day after all, in spite of the rain!

The Grand Canyon does take your breath away. It does take a while to adjust to what you are seeing, one of God's greatest creations for sure. We wished we could have spent more time there last year, but we know we will go back for a longer stay! Beautiful pictures!
-
Awesome pictures. Wow, they have done a lot on the bridge since we were there last October! It is neat to compare our pictures versus yours! Hey, we didn't get searched when we went through!

Hey Jeff, we know you need to do what you need to do, so take care of yourself and if there is anything we can do from here, just let us know. Just stay safe! -

Normally, we take the bike to Alabama, but with rain threatening on Friday every where, we took the pickup. Thankfully, we were in the pickup when the tornadoes, hail and rain hit in Huntsville I-565 and I-65 area on Friday afternoon! So, Sleeperhawk had to suffer not being on the bike! -
Sounds like a great weekend! Looking forward to the long ride!

Okay, just so everyone knows, I reluctantly went by myself to Alabama last week. My best friend from work was retiring after 31 years and my former law firm had a party for her (and the party was from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon). Sleeperhawk could not go with me because of his having to be at work. I did make him a cherry pie before I left. It was the least I could do for him! We did talk on the phone every chance we could get, and it is very good that I have unlimited minutes! Had a great visit with the kids and grandson, but it just wasn't the same without Sleeperhawk! It took me six and a half hours to get home Sunday (450 mile trip) and I even dropped off a bike frame for Taz on the way home. Was I ever anxious to get home to Sleeperhawk. He had the house sparkling clean for me, all clothes washed and a pot of his delicious coffee waiting for me. :cool10: Also, he wanted to make spaghetti but I did not want him to, I just wanted him to relax! Sleeperhawk is indeed my soul mate and being parted from him is not sweet sorrow; it is H***!!!! I am soooooo glad to be home with my Sleeperhawk!

We are so thankful that Tom is doing okay. Heartbreak to see the bike, but glad that things are working out so far. Thanks to Chuck and Linda for their Texas hospitality. You guys are in our thoughts and prayers. Be safe going home. Bobbie and George
