Bryan, I was just checking my list of things to do and take on our trip and was wondering if you can think of anything else? New tire front new clutch fishing gear trailer ready you are bringing Dollars Store coupons Duct Tape Ignition switch I am also bringing HIP WADDERS FOR THE Mud holes NEW OFF ROAD REAR MUD TIRE CHAIN SAW to clear the path:rotf::rotf: That should cover it right

it looks like the one Alan was riding when he was here from down under. I doubt the damn thing gets 60 mpg but the one Alan was rding got 42 + pulling that trailer. Everytime we stop going to Vogel I'd fill up and take 4 gallon and he'd take 2.8. I think he was showing off

WOW, when I stold mine it was red. Wished I had stolen yours then I wouldn't have had to paint it. Mine is pretty old but in good shape. It's a 1990 only paid $200 for it.
-
Well Annie, Since you and Alan can't make it over here then we should all come to you. Wouldn't that be a blast:thumbsup2:

Well as luck would have it the thing does have a tubular luggage rack. The trailer was just painted Friday so am waiting a few days to put it back on. I also have to put on the cooler rack, side marker lights and the stained oak bumper for the back. I will post pictures when all finished.

Great antisipation......antisipation

How long do I need to wait before I can put good wax on it? It was painted Friday?
-
Sherwin Williams Enamel, didn't clear coat it. I figured no more than I pull it that paint would work great. With hardener, reducer and a quart of paint it cost me $53.00

I thought Cooter drove a tow truck -
no the thing I am talking about is oem built into the motor
-
Well thanks for all the Help??? What I am talking about is to the inside of the front right plug. you can not see it unlees you have the tank off, the dogbone off the plug wire off and the plug out. it is about 1/2 the size of a wd 40 straw around and about a 1/4 inch long. it then goes through the fin into a round hole about the size of a 1/2 dollar. it then turns and runs horizontal into the head. The hole is about a 1/4 inch deep and it has 4 prongs protecting it so you can't accidently bend the tube. Again you cant see it with out all this stuff off. I take a picture but I do not want to take all this stuff off again. I noticed it today while putting in mew plugs. I am sure someone besides me has seen this and knows what it is for. I am not talking about the carb sync lines.

If you are setting on the right side of the bike on a stool and you are changing the plugs in the front right head and if you look in there you will see a little tube that comes up next to the plug (towards the inside of the motor) it runs down and then into the head . Looks like it could or should maybe have a small vacum line or something hooked to it. Should it? What is it for? Anyone know?
-
Well, I guess I am done with doing all thr things I wanted to do to the bike so now it is time to start with the trailer. I have already rewired and replaced all the lights. Repacked the bearing so now it is time to slap a paint job on the thing to match my 2000 MM. Let's hope it turns out.

Thanks to EVERYONE for the thoughts and prayers. I rode over yesterday to South Bend to see Shirleys sister and I returned today and they give her just days a week at most befoee she leaves this life behind. She has many medical problems brought on by all the complications from being diabetic. She has been on dialisas for the last 5 years and is bed ridden now. She lost part of her foot and has sores that will not heal. Due to all the medical issues and the pain she must deal with everyday she has made the choice to stop dialisas last Friday. Without this treatment she can only live up to 3 weeks at the most but with her issues they feel another week will be all we can expect. Again thank you from the both of us. Rick & Shirley Haywood
