  4. Yep, one more here for watching them..
  5. already have fiber optics right to the house , I was not impressed, Just dumped them. 6 megs down @ $70.00 per month is not cutting it with me. and it was not stable at all. my 12 meg cable for the past 3 weeks has been right on the dot. for half the price.
  6. yeah, there having a hard time keeping them in stock, and of course I was one of the last to get a D2 and they just started setting them up with D3 this week. just doing my home work for now. It just got me curios. I am at 12 down now. I called and even the tech said wait about 6 months or so.
  7. yep and yep..... been running test the past few weeks and it has been very constant for me day and night... no drop or increase at all.
  8. Thats Cuz it is VERY Top Secret stuff ! Don't tell anybody!
  9. Very Interesting.... So I am thinking a 10 to 20 meg increase (down) on what ever package that someone is running at the time. what brand did you go with ? Moto? Arris ?
  10. So how much of an increase in download speed did you notice by just switching over to D3 ? And let me know if you switch as I might be interested in your modem if you own it *lol*
  11. So I was thinking of switching up to the Docsis 3 Technology from Docsis 2 Have any of you had to pleasure or even noticed a differance in these Docsis 3 Technology type modoms? I just switched from Fiber Optics DSL Back to Cable, I was NOT happy with the DSL at all. Very pricy for such a low download speed. The Cable company does support the newer Docsis 3 Technology now. Just wanted to hear what others thought. Thanks Jeff

  15. I just change my tips as they have differant heat ranges but I do this all day long at work anyways and flux is your friend
  16. And this is for an 08 ? (warrenty ?)
  17. Yep, I can't find them as well ..
  18. Yep, Just drove 50 miles and picked up a Gal of wildcat 2/4 stroke fuel bench running the new engine right now with it, works very well my cost on the fuel was $19.50 a gal and the drive up I also have been looking over my older fuel and it seem to be OK as well. It was stored out of light and in a cool place as well for the last 3 years, Will give it a shot this spring when I know my engines are all tuned correctly. It amazes me that It cost $22.55 a case to ship now.
  19. I might have an extra (Ponch) plate laying around , I will have to look around for it though. (not sure if I still have it) As far as the rest , you can get yourself. READ all of the below link and also at the bottom of the pages you will see other links to click on as well. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=34281 Also you can go this way and use the back plate as shown here ( comes with the sunpro gauges) and your pretty much set. just need a couple adapters as you will find after reading through all the post. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showpost.php?p=322564&postcount=130 Good Luck ! Jeff
  20. :Dman I remember the days I used to fly Heli's I musta burned at least 3 gals a week. And I learned with mechanical gyros as well, back in the day I flew so much in calif I never had to worry about rust as I flew most everyday !
  21. Oh My ! now that is not good. didnt think of that
  22. Oh yes I have an engine mount all set up on a black and decker bench. throttle cable and fuel tank, this is why I was thinking of doing both engines over the winter and that way I don't have to hassle with breaking them in while in the plane. I will also be trying out the newer wildcat 2/4 stroke fuel (good for both) for break in I think. always did love wildcat when I used to fly heli's great stuff. Jeff
  23. foam ear plug in the carb hole, what a great IDEA!!
