I definitely like it. Especially if I do a search for something and then I can see other threads that might be helpful. I don't think that it is obtrusive at all. Bubber, Bubber, Bubber, what are we going to do with you?

Perfect! Those are the ones that I'm looking at. They had a glove liner kit which included the wires and controler but it is discontinued. I have an email off to them to check on it. I also have their phone number to call. I have so many pairs of different types of gloves that I think the liners would be the way to go for me.

Does anyone use the gloves alone, without the vest/jacket, etc.? I was thinking about hippo hands too. My hands are the one part of me that gets cold beyond the comfort range that is acceptable to me. I was trying to imagine running the cord from the gloves to ??? I think normally they plug into the jacket/vest, right? I'm looking for suggestions.

I just had my daughter log on to FB to see this site, and of course it is a closed one as you all know, but Who started it and WHY? 452 members? So you can get around using VR forum? Doesn't make any sense to me.

Love the wheel covers. How are they held on?

Sounds great, BUT------------ Can't wait to see some of these mods.

I think that these things are really neat, and I always wanted something like this when I was working to drive back and forth in the winter, but now not so sure. I can understand why you can't find anyone to insure them, as they are not being made yet. I would think that being 3 wheeled, it would have to be licensed as a MC though.

You didn't say if you had a trailer, but if you load it in your pickup, backup to a hillside, so it's more of a level loading situation. You can use a plank to load. Either way, good luck A trailer might be lower to the ground and longer, so that might work too.

Take it off of your to do list. You do enough and we don't need it.

What is your winter project for this year?
eagleeye replied to Venturous Randy's topic in Watering Hole
My project for this winter is to change both tires and all fluids in the bike. Got the tires done today. Fluids will not be done before the holidays. -
It's cleaned up and mounted, and the bike back together. Just got home from getting the new front Shinko mounted. 130-90-16. I don't have that one cleaned up and on the bike yet. I stopped to get some beads but the shop didn't have them so sometime before spring I'll put them in. The front tire I had balanced and won't put the beads in it. I did take the opportunity to clean up the bottom and back of the mufflers which never happens otherwise.
-
Thanks for the tip on baby powder. I've used it on tires with tubes for that reason myself, and I agree it works great. I took it to a tire shop and he used a different lube and it went right on. I'm going to use beads inside this tire for balancing.

Yup, one side just wont' go over the hump. But as you know, no tube type tires here. YET

My mechanic tried everything. slime, silicone, aired up many times. He took it off of the rim and I polished it and tried again. Now it is sitting near the wood stove with approx 60+ lbs of air in it for the night. One side just won't go no matter what. Maybe the heat will do it. If that doesn't work, I'm going to take it to the tire store and see if they will use their blaster on it. If that doesn't work I'm taking my heat gun to the shop and we'll try that. I'm listening__________

Thanks, making it one picture is the hard part. I've tried with what I have on my computer, but can't get it saved. I'll work on it. And as I read it, the 3 made into one need to be no bigger than 100X500, which should work.

It's 5 years later, and I still haven't figured out how to add both maps. I tried the links but they didn't work. Any help would be appreciated

I think I've learned more about the new one than I knew about the old one. And am getting on good. New or old, I'm always trying to figure things out. Well, I see adding my visited states maps didn't work. I think I know what I did wrong though, so I'll try and fix it. Well, I got one of them.

I have to ask about the NO SALT part. Here the roads will be white for many months to come. But It was a beautiful day here too and I did think about taking a bike out for a ride. Cold, but nice! It would have to be the chopper.
-
Hope they get it sorted out. Good group of guys. I've been a member here and there. I enjoyed riding with both.

Paparazzi snaps picture of Freebird’s Harley when he snuck out for a ride..
eagleeye replied to KIC's topic in Watering Hole
Hey, one of you tech kinda guys must be able to put/have Freebird sitting on these things in a picture. -
Good luck with your Nexon. That one of mine stuck like glue in the corners. I'm putting beads in both of my tires this year.

Have more of a problem of the mist sticking to the backs of "all" windshields on a motorcycle. Ain't that the truth! Now someone must have a GREAT IDEA to keep or at least remove the fog/mist from the back while riding. It's not me. I just use a cloth also.
