I agree with James...Carl's beef jerkey is GREAT!!! Gee thanks... now I want some and am gonna have to make a trip across the boarder.....the only problem is, ya gotta eat it all while over there......maybe I'll have to stick around and go and visit a bunch of ya, so I can stay longer, and eat more jerkey!!:rotf:

Gary, I am glad that you were able to take them steps....as they are steps foreward, and ones that you had to take at one time or another. It only goes to show that you are getting stronger! You will make it thru this, it will be hard, but you will make it! Just remember, if we can do ANYTHING for you.... We are here for you Gary!!

Steve, Glad the doc seems to think you are doing good! Keep up the good work! And that means listen to him, thats what you are paying him for right now! I also didn't see the post on the accident, but then that was about the time we had ours, so I wasn't too close to a computer! Sorry I missed it! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a complete recovery!

it's not my fault we did'nt make it!! blame it on brad having to work!!! we usually make it to most of the canadian rides! are you sure you have only known this guy for 35 years.....seems it should be longer than that! but he is a good lookin man....for his age!

gary, glad you got that suprise for dinner!! boy do i know how you feel! leslie was a great cook, and i know why you couldn't keep the weight off! if i remember right i think i owe you a home cooked meal....so just let me know what you want, and when, and it's yours!!

nancy, yep, brad is taking care of himself too!! he returns back to work on monday. my ortho doc is good, but 50 miles away. i trust in him, and thats a good thing!! all i need is time, and thank god i have that, after what we went thru! by the time i see you at don's, i should be all healed up, and able to make cheesecakes.

rick, from what they tell me, all they did was cut me open from the front, cut and put the bones where they should be. then they drilled a hole thru both parts of the bone, and screwed the pin through from the back of the shoulder. the doctor feels if i heal well, 6 weeks later he can go in and cut the back side open a little bit, and then unscrew the pin, and stitch me up, in a outpatient surgery. i don't really like doctors, but this one seems to know what he is doing!
