2. Can any one post pictures? I looked at a picture on another post but can't tell. Thanks
3. Wow I can't believe the difference, a lot less weight and a whole lot warmer, not to mention the ease of getting into them. Has anyone else made the transition snow bibs? Oh and my knees a lot warmer too.
4. Thanks for the offer, but on the 12th I'll be in DC holding a sign. If you come to Lexington pm me and we'll get some BBQ, Mike
5. Hi Folks I live in central NC and would like to meet some of Ya'll. My question is are there any meet and greets going to happen any time soon in NC? Thanks Mike
6. Got my rear brake Pads Installed last night, truly a peace of cake. I hope the front ones go as easy. 20,000 miles on this set, is that good? thanks for the help, ya'll saved me a $100.00
7. I only travel in states that recognizes my NC cc. The rest of the States can kiss my gun toteing a**. Back to your question Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact, inside the pant soft holster with belt clip.
8. Thanks, I got in and pictures are worth 1,000's and 1,000's of words. Should get my pads today, and let you all know how it goes. Mike You guys are great!!
9. Thanks Guys This was a great help. Mike
10. Thanks in advance. Is it hard to change brake pads on a 07 RSV? I have a lift and tools. I've done car brakes before but never a bike.
11. Check this out on UTUBE [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GAacxGiV4A]YouTube - Trigger Green Traffic Lights[/ame] if you ever been stuck at a traffic light. I'm going to try it. Don't know if anyone has posted this before if so, sorry.
12. I know its hot weather and no need for heated cloths, but I like to ride in cold weather too. My question is, does Yamaha make a heaver duty alternator? The reason is my bike will not keep the battery charged with my wife and I wearing our Gerbing's heated coats and gloves. Seems like a touring bike would provide ample power for heated cloths. Don't get me wrong I love my RSV and would not trade it for any other on the market. Any help in this matter would be a great help, I know ya'll are a great bunch of people and I'm honored to be a part of this forum. Mike
13. Here is another conversion. http://customdynamics.com/motorcycle_dynamic_clusters.htm Just two more cents, I put something like these on my trailer rework.
14. Thanks for the reply. I like the valkyrie but never rode one, I've always had Honda's, my Venture is the first none Honda, I wouldn't trade it for any other bike out there, put 3,537 miles on it on a trip to Dodge City, Kansas. Thanks Gregg
15. How does the Venture stack up to the valkyrie?

Trailer Rims

Yea I painted the trailer, base coat clear coat, the blue matched to my 07 RSV was 147.00 for a pint. it comes in a qt. can and you finish filling it with thinner to make a quart of paint. I'm a sign maker by trade and by no means a professional painter, but base coat clear coat is forgiving so I gave it a shot. All total about 250.00 for the paint, strip, clear, sandpaper, and thinner. It came out pretty good. Thanks to the rest of you guys for the help.
17. Just painted my trailer and sure would like to put some nice rims or mags on it. Anyone have any suggestions or links to 8" mags or chrome rims with 5 holes. Here is a before and after picture.
18. I read someplace, maybe the hitch receiver instructions, I really don't remember. What I do remember is it said 15 lbs. max tongue weight. My frontend feels a little light if I load it heaver than that. Hope that helps.
19. Here is a cople of pictures Link to where I got the Pro Bike http://www.southernbikeworks.com/products.html
20. I know for sure a 4x8 will not be long enough. The one I got wasn't and I had to cut the front and make a extension of about 20" to make it work. Mesure twice and cut once. I have a 07 RSV.
21. I have a store bought one with a swivel hitch, and know for a fact those little rims 8" in my case don't like curbs. I hit one at a very low speed and it did flip over and made us fall. We didn't get hurt and very slight damage to the bike. Back to your question, depending on what your hauling and weight you have in it, might take a little longer to stop, it does me anyway, just take that in consideration when braking. Be safe and shinny side up always.

23. Man, I know what y'all bring to a knife fight. The 2nd Amendment is one I would die for. When I was in Memphis I met and talked to a nice guy from England and he said they took away all their guns years ago. He said he had a air rifle but had to keep it hid. (BUMMER) We don't know what we have untill we loose it. For anyone who likes guns the NRA if offering free membership at this time. I hope its OK to say that.
24. Hi Mine does the same thing, 60 is the loudest, drives me nuts. I got an 07 and found if you sit a little further back you don't hear it. Also the Bricktown tires roared so bad I had to change them after 3,000 miles. Just my two cents. NCReb
