I have officialy joined the Darksiders. Put a nexum 165/80-15 on the rear and took a 200 mile ride this AM just to try it out. Loved it and so did the wife. Now to convince the son. He is having a fit about it. But he rides a Harley so that probably accounts for it . He is just jealous. Ride safe and may God Bless.

More Stories on the RSV Float Levels
PastorPaul replied to V7Goose's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Is there anybody around the Augusta, GA area that is good with the floats? I have had no luck with carbs in the past. If carbs take a green thumb to get right my thumb must be black as I tend to kill them. -
Is there a CB antenna for sale anywhere?
PastorPaul replied to Nemo's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I took the cable and cut it at the conector at the base of the antenna. I soldered on a pl259 connector in place of the old connector. Went to the truck stop and bought the base , fold down adapter and a firestick. put it all together and it works great. With the fold down adaptor I can still lay the antenna down to put my cover on.- 12 replies

A few years ago I was told I wasn't a real rider by the president of the local HOG. When I asked him what he ment he stated only real riders ride Harley's all the rest are fakes. This was before I was ordained so my NCO temper flared a little. I asked him how many miles he put on his bike the last year and he said 3800 miles. At this point I laughed at him and got out my service book. I showed him that in the last 12 months I had put on 23685 mile on my bike. I then asked him who the real rider was as it sure wasn't his candy A??. The other harley riders with him got quiet and I was left alone for the rest of the ride. A couple actualy bought me a drink at the end and asked where I ride to cover that much territory. The president stayed far away and left soon after the end of the ride along with the other stuck ups. Imagine that.LOL:innocent-emoticon:

I am hoping somebody that is close to Augusta, GA has a carbtune and knows how to use it. The local clowns/dealer do not know what they are doing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and Ride safe. Pastor Paul

I am willing to do last rites. Annoint him with 10W-40 by the gallon and slip him right out of the garage. At least with that much oil on him he wouldn't be able to hold a tool. LOL:sign just kidding:

If you guys ever decide to take a weekend ride the door is always open here in Hephzibah,GA. I wish the local dealer would get off his butt and sell more RSV's but he is more interested in selling Goldwings. His mechanics aren't the brightest bulb on the string either when it comes to Yamaha's. Ride safe and God Bless.

Maybe you should go to an HD dealer alone and see if you like the Fat Boy or Soft Tail Classic, if you do, you can tell him you will switch to HD, but only if he will spring to get you the one you really like. If he is going to make you get rid of the bike that is right for you, SOCK it to him. Make him get you a brand new hot pink Ultra Classic. That will fix his wagon. He wouldn't be caught dead on it. In the mean time I will keep you and him in my prayers he needs to learn this as it will save him a lot of grief. Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. Robert A. Heinlein It only took me 8 years to learn this since then we have had a great marraige and I got a new RSV.
