That's my favorite way to eat it. I could actually skip all the sides. We will set the fryer up on the deck, and commence to cooking the fillets. All I need is a hot fillet every now and then, to go with my cold beer, and I am happy.

I eat it sometimes, but Crappie and Rainbow Trout are my favorites.

He and his family are in our thoughts here. I feel for you too, having to see a good friend go thru this.

Mine has a chirp, that is more like the Jetson's car sound. ALL of my Yamahas have always made that sound. ALL of them, even way back in the '82 models.

I put my E3s on today. I removed the tires/wheels, and took them to a local shop. I watched him as he carefully mounted and computer balanced both. $20/tire. So, I am only out $40 for the mount/balance, and the $10 it cost me for a tube of Honda moly 60. $50 total...not bad.

I just got mine today from Motorcycle Superstore, for $228 for the pair. This is the 2nd set I have bought from them, and I always get them in like 2 days. Shipping is free. Both tires were manufactured in late '09.

I posted quite a while back that I had installed one when I did my gauge install. Easy as pie. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/IMG_3831.jpg

This professional fisherman I know has a huge gator farm in Louisiana. The prices aren't bed, but the shipping price is awful. He brought a bunch up here and cooked it up for us one time. The gator sausage is excellent! www.kenpeaker.com

The first two pics are from the rear tire, and the last one is from the front. I know the cracking in the tread is not so much of a concern, but I REALLY don't like that sidewall. I don't know how many miles are on these, so maybe Buddy can shed some light on that. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/IMG_3891.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/IMG_3890.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/IMG_3888.jpg

I will be going with the E3s. I just noticed yesterday, that my Avons are cupping bad, and have lots of cracks in both the sidewall, and the tread. I don't feel so safe right now, glad I looked at them. I will be ordering some E3s from Motorcycle Superstore.

He'll be back before you know it. He'll be in our thoughts for a safe deployment. Too bad he couldn't fit his bike in the plane, and take it with him.

I'll pay you twice what you paid for it. Now THAT'S a deal...how could you pass up that kinda profit? If you wanted to part with one of them there Secas, I might be interested. I used to have a silver one, and loved it.

A few maintenance questions
Monty replied to Karl C.'s topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Karl, I use Rotella 15w40 in my RSV, and I also used it in my '83. I like it alot, and they seem to shift better with the Rotella. That '83 is nearing the mileage where the 2nd gear issue is going to pop up, unless it has already been fixed. Do a search on this forum for "2nd gear issue", and you'll see what I mean. 2nd was pretty bad in my '83, but I just skipped 2nd. The '83 has enough power that you really can do without 2nd if you need to. Late '85s and up didn't have this issue. -
Glad to hear you and your Pop are doing better. Jameson will be in our thoughts here. Kids shouldn't have to deal with this stuff, it just makes me sick to see one have to go through something like that.

I didn't know hubs had security encryption. I use a cable modem and a Netgear wireless router...with encryption. I haven't used a hub in ages, so I guess they have come a long way since then. In my computer shop, I would usually have 10-15 PCs hooked up at any one time with a hub.

LOL, I'll pass. I'm having some more tomorrow night.

I like it! Mama wouldn't like that back seat though. She's spoiled to this Cadillac RSV rear seat.
