OK folks, I had a few requests for the VentureRider Guardian Bells and since I was almost out of them, I went ahead and ordered 50 more. They should be here sometime next week. for those that are not ready to register yet, how about checking in the 2009 rally attendence poll and let us know your status on there. this would greatly help us in getting our count. could one of the moderators, or don move that to a sticky to make it easy to find. the poll is listed under venturerider polls. we could also use a sticky on the children that are coming poll so we can figure the childrens menu, and gunboat will know how many to expect for the games. bill

Just a thought Freebird. How about a forum where we can see top posts of the day or week. This would be for the time we are away from the VentureRider while on vacation or what ever. When we come back on line we can see what important issues we have missed.

I think that if a seller post an ad. it should go to the main menu (home) like the rest of the post do. then it will fall off with in a day. right now as it stands nobody has a clue if a member posts anything for sale or not. OR you have to say HEY *waving* I just posted a for sale item in the VentureRider Classifieds . Just a thought. Jeff (JUST LIKE THIS POST JUST JUMPED TO HOME)

I was wondering what the rules/etiquette of posting new threads in proper sections. It seams like every day I read topics for technical assistance in the Watering Hole section...which to me is the wrong place.... I just dont want to make an error and post in the wrong area. Folks, for any of you who enjoy the piano, we have a member here who plays absolutely beautifully. Bob Geresti, username Geresti, sent me a couple of MP3 selections during the holidays and they are just wonderful. I asked him if he minded me uploading one of them to the Chat Room music selection and he said sure. He also told me though that he has about 28 CDs out and that he was willing to offer any VentureRider member a discount on them. For a preview, you can hear Bob's "Stairway to Heaven" in the chat room. Bob's CDs sell for $13.00-$15.00 each and he has told me that he will make them available to VentureRider members for $10.00 each plus shipping. If you like piano, you will love Bob's music. I know that none of you will do this, but just in case. On Monday I left the house heading for Ft Bragg in NC. I had a cup of coffee in my wonderful Venturerider cup, and it worked just great. Along the way at one of my stops I grabbed a Coke and candy bar. Not wanting to throw away the left over Coke, I rinsed the cup and put the Coke in the cup. About ten miles up the road I heard a LOUD pop and saw a quick movement out of the corner of my eye. After I adjusted my mind to the new color of my pants I pulled to the side. The pop up top had been totally blown loose by the pressure build up from the carbonation of the Coke. Fortunately the pieces did not fly off and I was able to just push them back down. Now if only the laundry was that easy. DON'T PUT CARBONATED BEVERAGES IN YOUR VENTURERIDER CUP!!!!!

I spoke to my wife a few minutes ago and she told me that the VentureRider Guardian Bells have arrived. I will be getting them shipped either Friday or Saturday. As we approach the 5,000 member mark, I think it's time that we think about a contest. How about a $100.00 gift certificate from New Enough? As you know, they contribute $1.00 per sale when one of our members buys from them and chooses VentureRider as the sponsor club. We have already given away one prize from there and we have enough in the account there now to give away another one. So.....put your thinking caps on and let's decide how to do this one.

Spring has sprung, the grass has riz. I wonder where all the VentureRiders iz?
