I would like to send out a thanks to those in chat last night. Just to let out the deamons that have been keeping me off the bike helped tremendasly. Came home today actually wanting to ride. I thought about it and you guys were wright ,I was going out tense and dwelling on the past expecting it to happen again. To those of you who dont know what I talking about, I have been reluctant to ride as of lately. Wrecked a bike at highway speed 20 years ago and this is the first time back on since then. It seemed everytime I got on the old girl I couldnt get back off quick enough. The only way I could get comfortable was to force myself to ride for an hr or more. Yesterday refused to ride with the wife . Didn't tell her till she got home that the reason I didn't ride was because I had a bad felling that if I got on my VR I wouldnt come home alive. The old deamon in that wreck is still kicking in. Again many thanks to those who let me talk and to those who read this for letting me air out this prob. It is a large barrier fro me as I really do love this bike . David -

Just got finished with chatting with Clay18, he will be coming home for a 2 week leave in July. Told him we might be able to get a M&E&R together while he is in.........It was a short chat and I lost him, but he still hanging around, so if your interested just post here and I will keep everyone posted.

I have created a Teamspeak server just for Venturerider members. It's like chat, only you speak instead of typing. It works great, and as many people can be on it as I allow at one time. Great for getting on and just shooting the bull. You can get it at www.teamspeak.com . You'll want to download the client, not the server. You will need either a headset with microphone, or a microphone with speakers. It is completely free. If you download it, and need help setting it up, just PM me, or catch me in the chat room, and I will talk you through it. My IP is monty.servegame.org the port is 8767 no password for now.

Folks, for any of you who enjoy the piano, we have a member here who plays absolutely beautifully. Bob Geresti, username Geresti, sent me a couple of MP3 selections during the holidays and they are just wonderful. I asked him if he minded me uploading one of them to the Chat Room music selection and he said sure. He also told me though that he has about 28 CDs out and that he was willing to offer any VentureRider member a discount on them.
