Note of Caution: Rode our trike in the Keys with sandals on my feet. My feet were getting burnt, so I put my boots back on, but it was too late. When I arrived at our friends house in Tampa, I had grape size blisters between my toes. Don't make that mistake. The sun is extremely hot!

Many spring flowers don't mind the snow. Our heather was in full bloom and then got covered with snow. The snow is melting, and those parts that get sunshine look as good as ever. Nice to see signs of spring.

Our RSV trike has 16,000 miles on it. Told Jeannette I want to be buried with it. Guess that says it all.

Dropped our bike when it had 100 miles on it, trying to make a right turn from a stop. There were lots of folks around. I was so embarassed that I just grabbed our 2nd Gen and made it right. That was the last straw. Had bike triked and replaced the damaged engine guard. Can now drive in the snow and mud without concern.

Yes, flu shot is a best guess at the three anticipated most common strains of flu. We got our shots last fall and have traveled all over in planes and cruise ships, and so far so good. I try to wash frequently, stay warm and eat citrus fruit. Hope our luck continues.

Sorry to hear so many folks are ill this winter. Jeannette and I got our flu shots last fall. We flew and cruised from LA to Fort Lauderdale through the Panama Canal. The only problem we had was sinus congestion, which we attribute to sleeping next to our kid's live Christmas tree in LA. It took most of two weeks for the congestion to break, but we are okay now. Was anticipating worse with all the traveling we did.
