  9. I've been waiting to see this I'll be up to see you tomorrow, you want me to bring anything for you? If the doctors say no you ain't getting it ! Do as the docs say, I don't wanna have to kick your butt when I get there
  10. I have the risers with stock bars on my 2 wheeler so I do have both setups to compare. Without a doubt, the flanders are the way to go. When $$ permit I'll be putting the flanders on mine.
  11. Yeah, Sarah and Chris were freaked out by the accident. The Boy was in shock over the whole thing, I'm sure my comments directed at him didn't help either, but I can't un-say them, they were said in my rage over what he had just done.
  12. Joystick control and steel bottom pants in conjunction with a magnetic seat, hold you firmly in place.
  13. You'll love the Flanders bars and cable upgrade. I did this on Jeannie's trike last spring and they made a HUGE difference in comfort and handling. Check with Skydok on the cables, his cable kit is better and I think a bit cheaper than Buckeye's. Can't comment on the lowering yet other than what I've been told. I am going to lower my front by sliding the tubes up 3/4" in the trees this winter.
  14. The lad was in shock, as was his mother. The boy panic'd and hit the accelerator instead of the brake when he spotted the trike. She (the mother) was the first one to reach Larry after the crash, Jeannie had to tell her not to touch him. From what I'm told they were nice and caring people. Myself I was ready to kill. The others had to walk me away before I did something stupid. EMS was very fast to respond, as were the LEO's
  15. :rotfl:
  16. Here's a picture Larry said to post to all of you, He say's THANKS for all the well wishes . He's already talking about " What to get NEXT"
  17. He'll like that. The room is kinda stark, so that'll brighten it up some for him. He has a 'puter in his room so I'm sure we'll see him chime in soon.
  18. I Just left Larry's room, he's still sore all over, as you would expect, but in much better spirits now. They will probably keep him a few more days then let him go home.
  19. PM sent
  20. He was on 3 and thank god Joyce didn't feel well and stayed home this trip. Looking at the bike it wouldn't have been a good outcome for a passenger. Like Don said he'll be ok but it'll take some time to heal. Don's discription of Larry's injuries are correct, He's real sore and on pain drugs right now. I just left his room and he's sleeping.
  21. See my other post for up date.
  22. Larry (Carbon One) was hit broadside this morning while we were on our Fall leaf looker ride in Northern Michigan. He has multiple injuries, broken collar bone, scrapes and bruises, waiting on CT results. but will be ok. Bike is totaled. I'll post later with more details, We are at Munson hospital in Traverse City. Please don't call the hospital at this point.
  23. I'm sending Chuck some measurements and then when the snow flies I'll send one of my covers to him to work off of.
  24. Blinker fluid goes in the glove box, right under the 8 Track tape player that will be standard equipment on the 2014 RSV.
  25. This was more common before ebay started charging final value fee's on shipping too. Used to be sellers would charge a high shipping fee but start the auction cheap, buyers would take the shipping fee into consideration when bidding, paying less for the item but more for the shipping, it was a strategy sellers used to reduce the amount of fees ebay charged.
