    I have heard that using the kickstand to shut the bike down is not the best option and that the kill switch is best. Any reason why? Thanks

    05 RSTD here with 40,000, and I never hear the fan. For awhile I wondered if it was working. However, one day while syncing carbs I could see it running.

    Iphone or nothing. Sometimes you cannot beat the original. I had the Iphone 3 for a couple years, got the four last Christmas. Can't beat 'em. I have heard of several Droids going out about the same time.

    And again for the tourmaster mesh. First year for mine and I find it really nice at 70 degrees or hotter. Used it it in 90 degree weather on a long ride. Worked perfectly

    Hey gang, Just received my EZ-TACH for setting idle and I am wondering what type of ignition system the Royal Star has. Conventional with Distributor DIS - Distributorless ignition system COP - Coil on Plug Thanks in advance.

    I too like the look of long tassels on my RS. However, when i would get on her down the road, my clutch would engage slightly and slip.

    I'm good with using a star. You did a nice job with the Venture patch, looks like a logo.

    Sounds like the right idea. you know, I just viewed the venture patch and G&V did a nice design... just saying. Perhaps he has design thoughts.

    I vote for Royal Star across the top and Tour Deluxe as it is on the bottom. I would guess the bike should contrast to whatever the patch color will be so it pops off the patch. Maybe Black Patch, red letters, and gray or white bike. Black Patch, white letters, and red bike.
