6. When I ran out of gas it took 5.5 gallons to fill my RSV. So I punched the filler neck. It now takes 6.0 gallons to fill it. I like the extra half gallon when I am on the road. Mike
7. Since you are looking at an aftermarket fairing just make sure you get something you can work with. Mike
8. XVZ13TF is the base model. I don't know what the M designates. If it had the stainless forks would be an S. T is the year. A 'C' at the end would be for California. If I am wrong I am sure I will soon be corrected. Mike

13. OK 29. Upper or Lower sideband? Mike
14. The design of the muffler is such that you have two end caps. An inner and outer. And yes you could just drill holes. But I wouldn't. Mike
15. Ok here it is. You reach in the back of the muffler with a dremmel cutter and cut the pipe. Then just push the pipe out of the way. There are a couple of threads on this. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41418&highlight=muffler Sounds pretty good too. Mike Looks like this when done.
16. Yes there is. I will find the thread and get back to you. Mike
17. My 2010 Venture came to me with Show Chrome heated grips. The grips are ok but they were missing the end weights on the handlebar. So before I go cutting the ends off my heated grips to reinstall the end weights I thought I would ask "has anyone done this before?" I have a set of weights minus the small plastic caps which I will get if this works. I also believe the handlebars are stock. So does anybody know if I am likely to run into any problems? Thanks Mike
18. Now now Angelo play nice. Mike

22. I e-mailed the VentureMP3 people and the response I received was they are no longer manufactured and will not be making a comeback. Mike
23. As a college instructor teaching auto mechanics I coined the term 'SDE'. SDE stands for Society of Drunken Engineers. Because sober people would not design things this way. It is usually used in reference to automotive engineers or highway Dept. of Transportation engineers. But occasionally it fits elsewhere.. Mike
24. I changed my filters today. Two new under the sink water filters, one refrigerator filter and one furnace filter. So I think I am ready for the change in weather. Mike
25. Yes there is an MP3 player that plugs into the CD outlet. It is then controlled by the riders radio controller. Last time I checked they were out of stock. Perhaps someone can find another source. Mike http://www.venturemp3.com/
