    HOA venting

If it were me I would re read my agreement looking for the limitation of one vehicle per stall. I would also be looking for wayward parked bicycles. And then have an attorney write them a stern letter explaining that I can indeed park my Kia and Venture in one parking slot. Just my thought. Mike

    Snow Tires

Thanks for the link. That is what I was thinking of. Mike
  6. Sounds like you were running out of gas. How full was the tank? Was it low enough to g-force the full away from the pickup? I would certainly be taking it in for a warranty check over. If nothing else a new (warranty) fuel pump would eliminate that as the culprit. Mike
  7. Well Scott We certainly wish you all the best. Did they give you any advise like standing on your head. That way you could leak fluid back into your brain. Sure would look funny riding your bike like that. All kidding aside we wish you a proper diagnosis and a speedy recovery. Mike & Miko

    Snow Tires

Chains are out but I was kind of thinking about studs. Mike
  9. So what is the best snow tire for a Venture ? Should the front and rear be different ? Mike
  10. I was recently in Okinawa. I would not like to ride a Venture there. Much to congested. So I rented a scooter. No cruise control required. Small motorcycles and scooters are common over there. Perhaps this is the market Yamaha has it's eye on. Mike
  11. Or twenty three and a half or thirty five and a half or.......... Mike
  12. Steve Sorry to hear about your friends accident. We are wishing him a speedy recovery. Mike
  13. The reason people drive like that. Diarrhea yep diarrhea. The guy has got to go so bad. Then it's to late. Finally have to get home and clean up the mess. Mike
  14. When I first got the Venture I did not like the heal shifter. Now I would not be without it. Mike

Yes that is an ok work around. But I was asking about a one button return to forum. Mike

    New Site

Don I appreciate all the work you are doing. The site is looking very good. Is there any chance for a 'return to forum' button at the end of a thread? Not that I want to increase your work load. Mike

    Usually auxiliary passing lights. Mike

    DC Jack

The auxiliary plug under the riders seat is a white two wire connector. It will have both the male and female ends of the plug but it will not have two of the pins that go inside. Why they are not included I do not know. To use this plug you will need to come up with the pins or modify the connector. Mike P.S. I ordered the pins from here. http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/connectors.html They do have a minimum order amount but if a few people get together it is doable.

The multi-pin connector in the left bag is probably for the CD changer. Mike
  20. Same here. Mike
  21. Try this. Mike
  22. What is wrong with paint? Mike
  23. Eddie I am with you on this one. Mike
  24. I would try changing to a different kind of oil first. For example, if it has synthetic go to Yamalube. Then ride it for a couple of hundred miles and see what happens Mike
  25. So sorry to hear about your dad passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mike
